God I thought this for sale thread was building up to something magical, that is until C7 came in and made me realize that I wasted 20 minutes! GLWS OP, free bump for some free entertainment.

At least the seller put new tires on the car. I laugh at these guys who are selling a 15 year old car, with original tires, and they want top dollar... and think the tires are perfect.
I wouldn't even let me ex-wife drive around with 15 year old tires.

Wow nice Vette, I am looking for another C6 with some miles.. Didn't care for the Transformer C7 and then C8 is worse trying to be a poor mans Ferrari
My issue other than price is the car has not run enough in ten years to trust all the rubber hoses and fittings that would dry up over that time not being flexed and run.. It's not just the tires but all the rubber seals and gaskets and brittle plastic parts that give me pause. Personally I would want an over 10K mile Vette as all the factory nits have been found and done under warranty,
I am curious as to why this car has taken so long to sell....Unless others reasons for passing are listed here the OP won't know why his Vette is still sitting,

I've wanted this vehicle ever since the first day the thread was posted (06/18).
I had 4 new cars since then. I've also privately PM'd him concerning a trade.
A gracious CF member, he thanked me but stated he was not looking for a trade.
He wants what he wants. You noobs please stop busting balze.....just makes you look bad......

Good luck with sale, if you are serious about moving it you should take it to a barrett jackson or similar auction, I would bet you'll get the money you want out of it even after the fee's... not that it's apples to apples, but an '03 Z with 618 miles sold for $33K in 2018 https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Even...TTE-Z06-222677 ... that's a solid $10K more than a 25-30K mile example would have sold for.

Nice car. I just purchased a 2006 Z06 with 2,249 miles. A lot of people here just don't get it. In 2005, I picked up a 2006 Z06 at the factory and my wife and I took a 7,250 mile road trip around America in her. I then modified the car for the track and ran it HARD. We ran it at Laguna Seca, Willow Spgs, Spring Mountain, etc., etc... Circumstances forced a sale about 5 years ago. I always regretted it because it was the best car I've ever owned and I've owned a bunch. The car we bought was EXACTLY like my old one. The only thing different is the VIN. We drove it hoe from Novi, MI to San Diego. I put more miles on her than she had when we bought her. I got my old car back and somebody restored it to original factory condition and rolled the odometer back 42,000 miles. I am ecstatic. I have a brand new 2006 Z with 5,500 miles(now). How much better does it get? It doesn't
I'm sure you will find someone who will appreciate it as much as I do mine. Until you've driven one of these gems on a track, you have no idea how special the Z is. Now I get to enjoy her forever.
