Definitely agreed. If I wasn't 2,500+ miles away I'd be trying to finalize a deal on this one.

Thanks everyone for the compliments!

A couple of folks have asked about the color. It's Victory Red. I'm not sure why it looks kind of orangish on computer monitors using my digital Nikon camera, it doesn't look like that in real life. I did a Google Search for Victory Red Corvettes and they all look to various degrees like that.

If you can find a local Victory Red Corvette to look at is probably the best solution.

Here's a shot I just took with my phone a few minutes ago, it looks much closer to the true life red:

Nice car and low miles, few follow-up questions after our exchange:
Given the track and autoX use, what is the exterior condition, ie chips/scrapes at rear brake intake fender, lower rockers, under car, due to track offs etc. ? Front spoiler lip looks damaged, is it? Also the axel over exhaust pipes look welded so no slip fit/disassemble capability? Are the tailpipes OEM and do they clean up to a stock shine?

The car has been tracked 3 times at ORP. It's never been off track. The lower front and sides are protected by clear bra. It's not perfect though. The front lip is damaged from scrapes and has torn the mounting holes in the front bumper. The repair is with 3M Extreme Mounting tape. The point on the nose has scrapes. All due to the dang parking lot blocks they use at the end of parking spaces.

The exhaust is welded. I think that part is oem...maybe not...I don't know for sure. I'd have to look at a stock Z06 to compare.

Tailpipe tips are OEM. I have no idea if they clean up to a stock shine. I don't polish my tailpipes. I have this car plus three race cars to maintain, I don't spend time polishing exhaust tips!

Here's today's pics of the front end:

Chin damage.

Chin damage 2

On other Questions:

The heads have not been done. That's why I bought the GMPP. If you transfer the GMPP you're covered until Sept 2019 should the valve guide issue be a problem. I figured I would defer doing the heads until the GMPP ran out then perform the service at the then known best practice. I'm glad I did considering the threads on the failed repairs we are seeing on the early repairs.

The car is no longer for sale. My wife went for a Sunday afternoon drive with me and said "I really wish you weren't selling this car, I like riding in it too much!".

As ya'll well know: Happy Wife = Happy Life!

So we'll be keeping the car for the foreseeable future. Technically i suppose it is for sale (like all my race cars, I don't get married to cars) , but not at a price ya'll would think is reasonable.
