I’m actually pretty flexible on colors, options, & aftermarket mods. I’d consider any Corvette for the right price.

Here’s what I’m targeting: A 2008-2009 Z06 in Red, Grey, or Silver. 1LZ or 2LZ without navigation and up to 55k on the clock. Comp grey or black wheels would be a big plus; a leather wrapped interior, even better. I would expect a well-kept, driver quality car like this with middle of the road mileage and entry level options to trade right at 30k.

Like I said, I’m pretty open to all Z06s. I could do a 2006-2007, or other colors and options, however I would really need to feel compelled it was a deal I couldn’t pass up. I’m even open to a manual Grand Sport, but I have a strong preference for a z06. I value the performance of the Z06 more than having a slightly newer Corvette.

I’m located in Northern Virginia, so finding something within reasonable driving distance by would be ideal. VA, MD, DC, DE, PA, WV, NC could all be in play.

My problem is finding something close-by. In the Washington DC area, I see far more Porsche's in this town than Corvettes. If I lived in the mid-west, I'd be home free. In your neck of the woods, there's a dealer in Illinois with a silver 2008 w/58k on the clock for $30k.

Not to get my thread off track, but you'd be amazed at what z06's are now trading for a dealer auctions like Manheim these days.
