On the tax situation, I think South Carolina has the advantage compared to most states. Also, when looking at the total picture, it's much cheaper to live here compared to much of the country. My personal example. I bought a 2014 Z51 last year. Tax due at purchase was $300. I then paid $789 property tax for tag renewal. I have about a 2000 sq ft house in a nice neighborhood and property tax on it was $738 last year.

plus a 7% state income tax that you have, which means if you make 100K you pay 7,000 dollars a year whether you buy a car or own a house or not.

before I would sell that baby, I would get a loan or something and use the car as collateral.

tell ya what, I make a deal with you. I pay the property taxes and you let me have it for 6 months out of year

LOL. Appreciate the offer. There is the luxury of not "having" to sell it. Of which I have. I just hate to let it sit and unbridled... Plenty of low ballers out there, just not willing to play.

Sadly GM killed the value of the ZR1 when they came out with the Z06. Your car is definitely worth the money, but the market says otherwise so its gonna be damn car to unload it at that price..

good luck with it..

Someone gave me a 90,000 car and I had to pay 2,681.97 dollars back I think I would do that everyday.

That's definitely a luxury of having the title in hand and not having to sell. There was someone interested and I gave them my price.

It is, for the aforementioned price of 85k. It has 8900 miles on it. I know some, if not all on this board think I'm out of line on the price, but given the car's lineage, I think it's the right price. Not trying to be a wise ***, but, if it's not the right price, it's my price.
