FS: 2006 Monterey Red Convertible w/ 19k One Owner Miles (SOLD)
UPDATE: As of 8/14 the owner of this car is now a CF member with the username DonnaP50 and she will be posting in this thread soon as well as answering all inquiries about this car. Please PM her with any questions or requests you might have about her beautiful 'Vette. Thanks.
Well, since I had such great luck selling my low mileage 1998 coupe here on the forum I have been asked by a friend of the family if I could list her car for sale on here. It's a 2006 Monterey Red convertible with Ebony leather and a black top. It has 19,329 one owner miles and it has been driven by a lady in her 50's since new. She is a non-smoker and has treated this car like it was her baby. It has been garaged the entire time she has owned it and it is absolutely perfect as the pics below will show. It has never been driven in rain, snow or when there is any kind of salt residue on the road and it has never been wrecked, damaged or altered in any way. The paint is 100% original and there are no scratches, dings or imperfections of any kind. This car looks showroom new inside and out. Also, something that may be of interest to certain buyers is the fact that this car is completely bone stock.....she has never done a single mod to the car so it's 100% factory original. It even still has the original tires and there is actually a lot of tread left on them which shows that the car has never been driven hard.
Here are all the options it came with in addition to the standard equipment:
-3LT Package: Heads Up Display, Heated Seats, Memory Package, Power Telescoping Steering Wheel, Adjustable Sport Seats, Bose Premium Stereo w/ XM Radio
-Power Convertible Top
-Navigation System
-Polished Aluminum Wheels
-Automatic Transmission with Paddle Shifters
-Premium Paint
-OnStar Service
The car listed out at $63,670 when new(she still has the original window sticker) and she is asking $35,995, but will listen to any reasonable offers. I will be happy to provide additional hi-resolution digital pics to anyone who is interested. By the way, the car is located in the southern part of Illinois about 300 miles south of Chicago and 100 miles from St. Louis, MO.

Hey guys,
The '06 convertible is my car that Brent was nice enough to list for me before finding out that I needed to become a member here to facilitate the sale myself. Please feel free to send me a private message if you're interested and I will give you my e-mail address or phone number so we can discuss the car in further detail. Thanks.

By the way, just thought I'd add that I took all those pics myself and I had a chance to inspect the car up close so I can verify that it's pretty much perfect inside and out. Good luck with the sale, Donna.

Haven't received any inquiries yet. Is anyone here interested in my car? Is it priced too high? I used Kelley Blue Book and this was the price I got for a low mileage '06 convertible with everything on it so I didn't think I was asking too much for it. Willing to listen to all reasonable offers.

KBB is one site.
If you go to Edmunds to get an appraisal you'll be surprised.
The real price is probably somewhere between the 2 sites.
If your car is listed here as well as autotrader, cars.com,craigslist, and you're not getting any offers, price is usually the sticking point.
Nice car, GLWS

Thank you for responding, hzz. I checked NADA and got a suggested retail that was a couple thousand less than KBB, but I have not tried pricing it at Edmunds. I figured it was best to start with a number that's close to what I would like to get for it and then negotiate from there if necessary.

Bumping this to the top for you, Donna. Hope you can find this beauty a nice home soon.

My car has gotten some interest with asking price at $31.5k. I think some people may be scared away by the asking price, thinking you might have unrealistic expectations. If you are willing to take less, adjust the price down and see what happens.

Thanks, Tony. I will probably have to do that this weekend. Guess the KBB price I pulled up gave me unrealistic expectations.
