Default Necessity/value of Z51 Automatic

I am looking at a few 05, 06 convertibles. Some have Z51 Auto & some are just automatic. What is the Necessity/value of having a Z51 Automatic versus not? Thanks

Better sways/shocks, drilled rotors (slightly larger), 2.73 rear ratio vs. 2.56 It's a personal choice.

2006 will not have a 2:73, 2005's w/Z51 came with performance axle ratio but 2006-2007 did not. It wasn't until 2008 that they came back out with performance axle ratio.

Also front and rear leaf springs are stiffer and more aggressive brake pads with Z51.

Z51 also has oil cooler, trans cooler for autos, better tires. 05s had 3.15s out back instead of 2.73s...
