2008 Machine Silver Z06 H/C/I
I'm putting her up for sale to change things up a bit. She has 42xxx miles but will change slowly as I drive it on the weekends. Looking to get around $46k. I wash it once a week and wax it once a month. All engine mods below have about 6k miles on them.
2008 Z06 2LZ always garaged, driven about once a week.
Engine work:
Stage 2 WEST COAST CYLINDER HEADS includes:WCCH custom CNC porting. Upgraded bronze valve guides. Manley Stainless steel exhaust valves. Competition valve job. Tumble polish intake vavles. Cylinder heads milled .040" (compression 12:1). Hardened custom length pushrods.
Quality Motorsports custom grind camshaft (I have specs).
Dual valve springs with titanium retainers.
160* thermostat.
LG carbon cold air intake.
Port matched intake manifold.
Ported throttle body.
C5R Timing Chain.
American Racing 1 7/8 headers x-pipe no cats.
B&B Fusion exhaust.
Tuned by Patrick at QMS in Lewisville, TX.Makes 570whp/503tq; pretty moderate tune. You can run quite a bit more timing if you're a dyno numbers junky.
Stereo upgrades:
Alpine DVD/Nav. w/ backup camera.
Focal components in doors/coax in rear.
JL HD 900/5 amp and JL 10W6V2 Sub in custom fiberglass corner enclosure.
Cleanest stereo I've heard in a vette. Not too many Z06's in the world have a W6 bumping in the hatch and Focals are remarkable. I put the stereo in myself and I can guarantee the clean install. we also dynamatted the doors and the center console. The doors also have a plate that is sealed off which makes the door like a sealed box for the Focal mid. Its' a little thing but it took a lot of time to get it right so the next owner will probably appreciate it.
All LED interior lights and license plate lights.
It's got aftermarket floor mats and a center console lid (just c6 flags).
The car now has ZR1 carbon fiber side skirts, front splitter and a painted spoiler as well. Also LED tail lights that have been sprayed with tinted clear.
The roof and halo have been wrapped in 3m gloss black vinyl.
The car has brand new brake pads and rotors all around... I can still see cross hatching on the rotors and I had Patrick flush the system and fill it with Motul fluid. Also new clutch fluid; I do Rangers flush about once every 3 months or so. The car has been taken care of and is a real beauty. I'm only selling her to change things up a bit and try something new. There is not one thing wrong with the car mechanically. It does have a little road rash on the rear quarters but thats about it.
Feel free to PM on here or give me a call @ 972-765-2353 or email me @ sm5654@yahoo.com. My name is Steve. I'm sure Patrick can answer any questions you have about the engine work as well. Shoot me an email with any questions for him and I'll direct them to him or feel free to call Quality Motorsports in Lewisville, TX.
