It has generated a TON of interest from people but I think its tough for long distance buyers to pull the trigger. Fair enough, all the long distance buys I have done I travel to the vehicle to make sure its exactly what I am expecting, other than the last one I bought a couple weekends ago I had my father in law look it over for me and bought it on his description to me.
I do have one guy saying he's just waiting for me to get it out of storage, but the road out of my place in MT still had snow/ice coverage last time I was down. So no chance to drive it or trailer it out yet with me feeling comfortable enough that it will end up good. Should have it back within a few weeks I suspect.

So how does it work if I buy it and have it shipped to KY? I have no clue about buying a Canadian registered car that is in the USA.

The car would. Have to be presented at US Customs at some location to have the paperwork completed and accepted by US Customs. Check with your local US Customs office in KY, they may be willing to process the entry if you show up with the car. Make sure you get the name and badge number of the officer that gives you any positive information.
Quit often the Customs office at an international airport will handle this. I know this used to happen at the Harrisburg airport when many Canadian cars would show up and be sold at Carlisle.
I was personally involved with a couple from NJ who bought a C2 from me and we went to the port of Newark to have the paperwork completed by US. Customs. The were charged $21 and we were told the car did not need to be present! This was very unusual as US Customs generally wants to confirm a car's VIN on entry. I would call and confirm everything they need.
You may also be able to have the seller use a broker to generate the Customs paperwork and send that to you, to take to the customs office. This will cost him a few hundred dollars for the broker.
Start by calling your local office and see how they will handle it. I have crossed the border many times both as a buyer and seller.

No problem.
Just have any potential buyer check with their local Customs office as there can be some slight variation on how they would handle an entry.
Love the first Gen Camaro.

Something to think about
Well, love my Z but I'm looking for a 67-69 camaro now. Am interested to trade equal or lesser value for the right car, shooting for a big block rs/ss car but not necessarily totally set on that. LeMans blue only sprayed on the first 2 years of the C6 Z06 (06/07) as you likely know..
No issues with the car, runs great, everything works. Not much to say really, an amazingly fast and great handling machine.

I contacted my local customs department at the airport and he gave me the details on what I need to do. The U.S. Customs & Border Protection web site also had the 2 forms I need. It's a $100 charge at customs but that's cheaper than flying out to Montana and going to Border Patrol. I'll PM you with my number so we can discuss further.
EDIT: Does the car have the EPA/DOT stickers on the inside of the door? The customs guy told me the car has to have the emissions sticker.
Thanks, Jeremy
