Nice, ebony interior? Any modifications? Conditions of the tires? One owner?

So, if 28,500 is too high for my 08 what is a "fair" price? Anybody been to a CarMax lately? I'm moving to Colorado and I don't want to take it since I will be living on a gravel road.

Nice car!
If anything, to me, the price seems too low. Usually when you see an LS3's price this low your first thought is "what's wrong with it?" The only problem I see is that you haven't provided much detail, no interior pictures of it, no history provided, no mention of maintenance performed, if it needs anything (tires, brakes, an oil change, etc.) if there's anything wrong with it, etc. You should write more details about it and post more pictures of it.

…say the C6 owners.
Everyone thinks their car is special and worth $1M.
With that said, I think your asking price is an ok starting point. Note, that you're car is a 1LT and C6s prices are on the way down. I think it should generate some interest.

Thanks for the comments and advice. I know that I have "under-advertised" it due to time constraints, but I'll take more pics and update later when weather is a bit better. My pricing strategy was based on what CarMax is asking for similar 08's ($29,988 to 31,000+). I thought 1000 to 1500 less than their low-end seemed fair. Their high end is more than I paid 2 years ago for a GM certified used. Hopefully a buyer would be close enough to inspect it, I think its crazy to buy a car without looking it over and test driving. I don't need to sell it, its just easier than taking it to CO. Moving from CO to VA two years ago I sold the 05 vert shown in the avatar rather than taking it with. Go figure!! Just lazy I guess.

Your price is correct. You must wait a bit though to sell it.
I hear other venues are more productive for sales.
I have 67 k miles on my 2008 c6 z51 m6 and I would sell it for 28500....maybe....
Your beautiful red corvette should sell at 29 at least...
I say take it with you. I drive once a week on a dirt road to get the horse stables and the car washes off great.
For 28 grand....keep the car and just put a wrap on it or cleartastic.
What a beauty!

He's not pricing it the same as Carmax, rather $1,500.00 to $2,500.00 lower. It's right in his ad. Free bump for the OP as the car is priced fairly in my opinion.

Show me how LS3/TR6060 car prices are on the way down. Dont use your observations or what you see, lets see a graph with actual cars for sale and their prices from whenever compared to now as well as a graph showing the actual sale prices of cars then and now.

FYI Carfax is a joke years ago I went to them to get my 2005 Z51 fully loaded C6 Coupe with 19,000 miles in perfect condition appraised and the offered me 19,000. I would not reference carmax for any base line price. With that being said your price is in line for what 08's plus Coupe are going for.

What Carmax buys your car for and sells it for are two totally different baselines. And the OP said he's pricing it lower than similarly equipped cars at Carmax. I'm starting to look for another car, preferably an '08, and if I wasn't set on a higher optioned car this would be one I'd consider. Back to the top for this ad...

Thanks for all of the comments, when pricing a used car one must start somewhere and rather than pulling a number out of thin air its better to have at least some reference point.
KBB private party for "very good"=$29,974
Edmunds "clean"=$26,956
average of the two=$28,465
Keep the discussion going, it keeps my ad near the top
