FS: 2007 Atomic Orange Z06 2LZ w/ZR1 wheels & tires
I am the original owner of this car; I purchased it new on September 8, 2007. The car is 1 of 673 Atomic Orange Z06’s built in 2007. While not “rare” it is a limited run color option in the Z06 during 2007 & 2008. It is an immaculate condition 2LZ optioned car with ebony interior with red stitching. The car was ordered by Ray Dennison Chevrolet as a car show model and had a number of GM optional pieces added to the car by the dealership. These include color keyed door pulls, custom sill plates, a Z06 under hood mat and carbon fiber interior trim and center stack / console pieces. The exact mileage as of 8/27/13 is 19,162 actual miles. The car is located in the Vancouver, WA area for those who live in the region.
Overall Condition
The car has been mature adult owned, driven and impeccably maintained. Always garaged and kept out of the weather, the car has never been in an accident, has a clean carfax and was only driven for leisure purposes. There are a couple very minor rock chips on the passenger side of the car by the rear brake cooling duct. And a couple of other very minor rock chips which are considered normal wear for a car driven occasionally. These are the only issues with this car.
Paint / Wheels Condition
The paint is clear and shiny and factory original, the interior is in perfect shape with no tears, or scratches. The tires have 90% life left and are Michelin Pilot Sports purchased less than 1 yr. ago; the OEM polished wheels don't have any marks, blemishes or scratches. Less than 2 months ago, I purchased a complete set of OEM GM Speedline ZR1 Chrome multi spoke wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport ZP’s, these are mounted on the car at present. They too are in excellent condition and have less than 10K miles on them. Essentially the car comes with both the original equipment polished split spoke Z06 wheels with Michelin Pilot Sports (non runflat) and the ZR1 wheel and Michelin Sport ZP tires 19/20 setup as part of the sale. Both sets of tires have the correct year TPMS sensors installed.
GMPP Warranty
The car has a GMPP Major Guard warranty that was purchased from GM in 2012. The warranty extends the factory coverage by an additional 2 years and 30,000 miles. The car is covered for everything directly by GM. Coverage runs through 07/30/2014 or 47,217 miles and is fully transferable. The warranty is specifically called a MGUARD/24/30/$50 with a $50 deductible.
GM Original car cover
I have an original official GM C6 inside car cover and carrying bag that will be included in the sale.
FOBs
The 2 original FOBs have had new batteries installed earlier in 2013. One FOB has seen little to no service, but I had both batteries changed as a safeguard.
Service History
All oil changes have been performed at a 3000 mile interval or 1 yr. whichever came first. While probably not necessary due to the light mileage, before I would store the car for the winter I always made sure it had a fresh oil change. All oil changes showed very clean oil and no metal shavings. All scheduled maintenance has been performed and a total fluid change was performed during the 5th year in service (Summer 2012).
Shifter replacement, The OEM shifter developed a linkage rattle and was deemed defective and replaced under factory warranty by Uftring Chevrolet. Uftring is a high volume Chevrolet dealer in Central IL who specializes in Corvette’s. Their Z06 specialist attended to my car at each oil change and for the shifter replacement. Beyond the shifter replacement there have been no issues with the car beyond normal routine maintenance, and fluid changes. This car has been absolutely trouble free.
Modifications
There have been a few minor modifications made to the car including the following:
1. A low restriction Hall Tech air intake and filter replaced the stock air box and filter unit (which I have).
2. A Dewitt’s radiator replaced the stock unit (which I have) along with dual high performance fans and fan controller for more effective cooling.
3. A skip shift eliminator was installed to eliminate the low speed ‘nanny shift’ from 1st to 4th gear.
4. DRM custom valved Bilstein Sport shocks were installed. These offer a substantial improvement in overall ride and handling on uneven road surfaces. (I have the original shocks).
5. A Ron Fellows full length color keyed spoiler was installed and replaced the stock ‘stub’ spoiler.
6. Lloyd's Z06 floor mats and cargo mat are installed in the car. (I have the stock mats)
7. I replaced the OEM battery in 2010 with an Optima Yellow top gel battery.
Price
Asking price is $45,500. Given the market, KBB regional pricing and mileage/condition I believe this is a fair price.
Kelly Blue book value estimate as of 8/27
http://www.kbb.com/chevrolet/corvett...1273100#survey
Excellent $47,959
Very Good $47,059
Good $46,059
Fair $43,059
Trades/Solicitations
Sorry but I am not interested in trading for anything.
Shipping / Pickup
I can help arrange shipment in the continental United States by an insured and enclosed auto transport carrier but the buyer will have to pay the shipper directly.
The car can be shown by appointment only, so please feel free to call me at 360.723.5398, or cell # 309.472.9052, if you live in the region and would like to see it. Please feel free to call or email tjklise@mtco.com with any questions. I will be happy to answer any emails about any specific details, etc. I can post additional photos, these are what I have on hand at the moment.
Thanks for your interest.

Thank you. I had the car out yesterday for a little highway run to a cars and coffee gathering, and had many people stop and comment on the color and condition. Even a woman at Costco getting fuel, "...what do they call that color? It's spectacular!"
It is certainly a head turner. Someone will be a happy Z06 owner with my ride.
