Im now in the market for a nicely modded 06-08 z06. would like H/C/I package or blower and hci. or even super clean low mileage cars. Price range is 35-45k for a built z06

or looking for 05-up C6 highly modded HCI and blower with wide body for sale. price range is 25-35k 600+rwhp.. again hci and blower on a c6. I have a 05 now with wide booty and hci.

i have been pre-approved with my amount of cash i have to put down at the bank, prices may be able to go higher as the more i sell some of the toys off.....

i do have a local black 06 z06 with 35k miles for $36k i am looking at the has a cam, headers and full exhaust....... so please don't say im dreaming with my price range. i thought i would set this up to see what other offers would pop up in my search.

Also wtb adds bring out potential cars that are not for sale publicly.

would like to stay localish within 6hr drive one way. or if you are willing to deliver, with a clean and clear title in hand that is great too.

I've been looking for a Z for the last couple of weeks and $36k will get you a nice 06 or higher mileage 07. Looking at a low mileage 07 for $38k but everything I've been reading about the LS7 engines grenading has been scaring me. Everyone has been telling me to make sure the head work has been done and all the ones I'm looking at haven't been touched and are bone stock. Now I'm wondering if I should just get a LS3 with a wide body kit on it.

Now I don't know if I want a Z or not. I can't afford to buy a Z and then rebuild it also. How do you know if you are buying a decent Z06 that's not going to cost you a leg and an arm or is that an arm and a leg.

Take a look at mine as well. Also... If you're looking at a modded Z06 with 35,000 miles for $36,000 you may want to make sure it's not a salvage title. Mine is a 2006 with 30,500 miles and still books for $42,000. Someone may be pulling the shades over your eyes.

If it is a modified Z06, make sure it has heads done already. Some cars only have a cam and no valvetrain/head modifications, so factor in additional money to fix that.

lol.... my bank wont deal with a salvage title.... they run the carfax's for me and they would not give me a loan on a salvage car... these cars are not hard to find at reasonable prices. a 09 jsb z06 6000 miles all stock sold for $44,500 down by columbus oh on cl (link is still up i believe), sold to a dealership which then knocked the price up to 48999. i was 2 days late on that.
