Default SOLD: Red 2006 ZO6 2LZ 9400 miles GMPP Warranty

SOLD!

2006 ZO6 for sale - victory red. $41,500. 2LZ package (HUD, seat memory, telescoping steering wheel, etc.), polished wheels, Nav, XM. The car has always been garaged, and well cared for. I am the second owner. The car has not been my daily driver. No accidents. Very few small rock pecks. Excellent condition. All maintenance history is available. I have both keys, cargo shield, package net, and all documentation.
  • Currently has only 9400 miles on odometer. Purchased from a collector in December 2011 with 2200 miles.
  • GMPP Major Guard warranty was extended in September 2012 for 3 years, so the car is covered by a bumper to bumper warranty until September 2015. The warranty is transferrable to a new owner for a small transfer fee ($50 I believe).
  • New 2012 LS7 long block installed October 2012 - previous engine had a main crank bearing fail which damaged the block - replace under warranty by local Chevy dealer. Engine replace at 6400 miles, so only 2800 miles on the new engine. New engine was broken in carefully. I have all of the codes, build dates, etc. for original and new engine.
  • Modifications:
    • Lingenfelter oil tank - this is the stock lower oil tank with an added section to increase the oil system capacity to 11 quarts.
    • Aviaid oil tank insert. Used to prevent oil starvation.
    • Car purchased with Mild to Wild switch in console. Essentially opens the fuse circuit, causing the exhaust to be fully open all the time when the switch is open. Exhaust operated normally with the switch closed.
  • Recently replaced front brake pads & 4 tires. Tires are standard size Michelin Pilot Super Sport. Brake pads are GM factory pads.
Car is located in Memphis, TN.

This car did not work out for me.
The seller is very informative and easy to speak with. He is also a very honest person. A good seller.
GLWS and someone will get a great car.

Thank you
I discovered the windshield had developed a crack stemming from a very small rock peck which was around the rear view mirror. When I discovered it, I mentioned it right away, indicating that I had called a local and very reputable auto glass replacement shop, and they had ordered a PPG windshield, and I would get it installed the following day. The gentleman decided that this was an issue for him, indicating that if not done properly, a windshield can leak and have other issues. He requested a refund of his deposit on this basis, and I obliged. Because of this, I did wait to check to make sure I had the right glass, and after re-verifying with GM and the glass installer, I am now certain this it is the correct windshield. I am getting the new glass installed tomorrow morning.

Regards,

Bob

That is the full disclosure. I know that would be a very small issue for some.
If the seller said he has the correct part.. I would believe him 100 percent.
The seller did not have to even tell me about ithe windshield replacement, and I probably would not have noticed. but, he did.
It was my personal choice not to continue..that's all. AT some point I may regret it

Looks like a very nice Z-06. I am surprised that it is still available. Might need to look at it. Is there a warranty on the replacement engine?
