This is my car on craiglist. I found out today that carfax has a accident report on my car (listed as minor) which is accurate. The damage was to the front bumper cover and fog light ONLY, purely cosmettic. Being a previous ASE certificed mechanic, i replaced the bumper cover myself after I had a body shop match the paint. I didnt file an insurnace claim as to avoid any carfax entries, but it happened anyway. The repair cost less than $900 and the repair is perfect. I have photo documentation (before and after) to show the buyer. My question is, how much should I expect to take in a loss on this car? KBB has the private party value @ $33000ish accident free. Thanks.

3.) Do you have the car fax report?
4.) How often was the car driven hard?

I couldn't live with a rock chip filled or not, takes the fun out of polishing imo, I had one on the hood too then had it repainted, since you ask I think your car is worth around 25K given the current market.

I see your from Canada, is that in canadian money or american dollars? Can you please elaborate on how you arrive at $25K ? Perhaps I should just keep it if its worth 8K less than kbb private party value.

I've seen brand new 1LT 2012's cleared out recently for 35K with incentives, yours is 5 year old 3LT and someone might go closer to 30K, US and Canadian dollars have been on par lately, GLWS.

I contacted Bill Jacobs Chevrolet after they posted on this forum that they will buy your Corvette and I must say that I am impressed after speaking with them. Their offer was only a couple of thousand under my asking price and they will pay the shiping charges to get the car to them.

A few cars floating around the forum right now for really good buys...One in Kearney, NE for 27k and the atomic orange in AZ for under 30k and the car has less than 5k miles. And as others have noted new 1lt's can be had for 35k

Now I must deal with vette-lessness syndrome. It hurts!
