Dude thats about $5K over normal dealer trade in, I would take it to the dealer right now and take them up on that before they change their minds, forget trying to sell it yourself.

$47k trade in on a 07 Z is incredible... Buddy traded in his 08 Z with 14k miles for $38.5 !!

Take trade in and GO... no one here will offer you anywhere near that

OP is getting jammed on the purchase price of the car he is trading it in on. Purchasing the new car outright without this Z06 on the trade, OP could probably buy that car for 8-12k less than what he percieves he is buying it for with the trade.

Mr .Gizmo might be right, many times a dealer will jack up a price on a car they are selling and pass that onto trade in....

You are asking $48,500 but have a offer form a dealer for $47,250? Holding out for $1k and deal with all the flakes and nutjobs on craigslist? Go to that dealer NOW!!!

many must not understand what a "trade in" price really means...

I want to buy a ZR1.... I dont know the price yet but the dealer wants 100k for it.

I bring my 07 Z06 and want to trade it in... Im offered 47k!!!! awesome!!!!

Ok so how much for the ZR1 again???? "Oh, its only 112k" says the dealer...

see how that works... dealers never lose! You are paying for it somewhere...

Now if the dealer was offering 47k on just a purchsae, no trade in, then go for it.

But Im sure they are offering that only if you buy another car, right?!?!?

Definitely, with a trade in price like that its probably on a zr1 or mclaren with sales tax already factored in haha.
