*SOLD* F/S 2008 z51 6sp manual 2lt crystal red
*SOLD*
Hi All !
It's with mixed emotions that I am putting my beloved c6 for sale.
I want to give a try to proper racing next year (pro3 bmw) and even though I would love to keep the car I need to sell it to finance the rest. My loss is your gain !
This is a 2LT 2008 C6 z51 6spd manual with 44140 miles, I am the second owner. Bought the car in 09 from the original owner in San Diego with 9000 miles on it.
Clean Tittle.
The car has always slept in the garage and been cared for meticulously.
I did most of the light maintenance like brakes and oil changes, and left it to Mr Tom Wong and only him for anything even close to the drive train.
I did bring the car to the track, as I believe this car only begins to make sense when you drive it for what it has been made for. About a dozen track days total in the last 2 years. Also the once in a while Friday night drags. best time 11.8 on street tires at PIR.
However make no mistakes, this car has been followed and cared for with no time and expense spared.
The car has just been gone through and serviced by Tom Wong.
New engine oil, transmission oil, coolant, belts, diff fluid changed last spring, as well as brake fluid flushed in august, clutch fluid regularly flushed using the ranger method. New Battery. New Rear rotors. front rotors 70% left. Carbotech 1521 pads front and rear with 80% left.
Here is a list of the improvements made to the car:
Engine and driveline:
-Tom Wong custom grind cam and tune (fairly mild tune, aimed towards drive-ability and reliability instead of all out hp) 466whp / 439wtq, and supporting mods.
-Halltech superbee MF103 and shroud
-AR coated longtubes header, hi-flow cats, x-pipe
-GMPP oil pump
-C5R timing chain
-Stock NPP mufflers with Mild to Wild remote.
-Dewitts hd radiator with transmission cooler
-Z06 oil cooler
-Elite engineering catch can, black anodized.
Chassis and suspension:
-Pfadt adjutable coilovers
-Hotchkiss sway bars, rear adjustable
-Pfadt camber plates
-Pfadt diff mounts, installed with the softer of the two bushings provided.
-Stoptech front 6 pistons bbk with 355mm slotted rotors.
-Russel performance brake lines in the rear, stoptech in front.
-ATE super blue racing brake fluid
-DRM brake cooling ducts and hoses.
-TSW 18x9.5 and 19x10.5 wheels with 265/35/18 and 305/30/19 bridgetone RE-11 tires , %40 front and 50% rear.
Reason for the unequal wear is that I had too much toe out in front for a while and it wore down the inside shoulder of the tires. this has been resolved since.
Interior:
-Heads-up display
-Focal Hi-Fi speakers and dynamat lined doors
-Corbeau FX1 pro microsuede seats
-Seats installed on proper brey-krause racing low profile aluminum brackets and side mounts. Passenger seat installed with passenger detection system bladder allowing for the normal function of the passenger airbag.
-Vette Works Sharkbar Harness bar and interior panels for a clean install. This is pretty much the only harness bar that positions the shoulder belts at the right height.
-Schroth Clubman III 6pts harnesses
install also retains stock seat belts, and stock seat belts pretensioners.
Oem options and add-ons:
Two tone ebony/cashmere interior
Heads up display
Full width rear spoiler
Body colored door handles
Lloyd premium floor and trunk mats with embroidered flag logos
For good measure I will throw in a set of spare front Stoptech slotted rings with about 90% left, a set of Carbotech xp10 fronts and xp8 rears, and a set of Pirelli Winter Sottozero tires that I used as winter tires, with about 70% thread remaining.

Thanks all for the compliments on the car. It is quite a car and I wish I could keep it but I have to make a choice.
I am sure it will make its next owner quite happy. It has a lot of character.
Yes, Tom is the man in the NW when it comes to these cars., I wouldn't have anyone else work on mine.
So, bump for Crystal Red !

Great car! I am in the process of adding most of these mods to my 02Z and will end up spending over 29k....so for anyone looking for a street/track car this is a deal. Or.....if anyone want a C5Z with track mods, I can trade up!

How does the car ride? My coupe has magnetic ride which I love. Could I dial it in to ride smooth when wanted? I have never been in a coil over car.
What are the specs on the cam? I am looking for a car almost exactly like yours!
Shoot me a pm if you get a chance.
Thanks ,
Daniel
