wtb 07+ c6 convertible around 32k
looking for a 07+ convertible. i'm located in the SF bay area, CA.
now, in a perfect world it would be 08+, victory red or orange, have z51 or f55, 3lt, auto, less than 40k mls. must comply with CA emissions.
clean carfax, maintenence history.
since this is hardly a perfect world i will consider other options.
any help greatly appreciated. what's out there?

really? nothing out there at all?
i'd be ok with other reds like crystal red or else.
maybe i have to wait until the c7 hits the lots?
or until next winter gets closer again?

autotrader, cargurus, searchtempest?
I've seen quite a few that fix your criteria....far cheaper than 32k (for 2007, at least)
You won't find many on here, though

never used cargurus or searchtempest before, tried it today but i think it just brings up the same vehicles i see anyways and has limited filter options, but it might be that i'm just not as experienced with it, will keep playing.

Examples (far cheaper, but no autos in this group but the coupe below)

There's an '07 black coupe for $21,500 (local), auto base model (78k miles)
I'll pay attention to your mileage requirement when I've got some spare time. I usually prefer higher mileage cars at much lower prices
I gave up and bought a BMW. I was looking for a convertible corvette 06+ last month
They're overpriced, I think. Give it 6 months and when the C7 comes out, they'll drop 3-4k pretty quick
05-07 cars are particularly overpriced

appreciate your pointers.
i know about the coupe but, well its a coupe and too much mls for me.
have to pass on the black vert, no black (or white or blue) and probably no silver for me.
i saw the orange 07 a while ago but i cannot believe that some semi professional seller doesn't do better pics if the car is ok on their own website or autotrader. i'm in the san jose ca area, so its a bit of a stretch to look at this one, however, i put it off for long but just called there, probably closed for the holiday, will try again tomorrow.
feel free to keep em coming

Will do
Local dealer sold an '08 JSB 'vert with 32k miles last month for 32k
Manual trans, or I might have been interested
The auto convertibles are harder to find. I suspect that they appeal to male and female buyers, both (more demand)

i DO however need any red or orange, z51 or f55, vert, hud, clean history, 07+, 08 = better, ca emissions legal.
would like no more than 35-40.000 mls, less = better.

"After a long thought process and possible career move, I am deciding to sell my 06 C6 Convertible. This car has been a garage queen and only has 12,500mi on the odometer. Paint is flawless, Interior is flawless, tires are in great shape and there are no rim blemshes or issues with this car. I have even bought mats to cover the factory mats. It is a Auto(Paddle shift), 3LT with NAV, heads up, Bose and power top. Have all documentation, DVD setup's, etc with the exception of the window sticker. Has not touched water unless it was washed and covered back up. Color is a beautiful candy looking red and shines deep in color. Top is in excellent condition and there are no issues or blemshes as well. I will post some pics, but can send more as needed or answer any questions that you may have. I really thought this would be a long term vette for me, but I am going to try and change my career path and need to sell in order to do so. Asking price is $32,000 for a great deal on a excellent clean 06 Convt."
This is posted in this FS section. It's not a 07+ but the price is interesting and the car looks to be perfect......FWIW.

I have bought and sold around 25 vettes over the years and for the last few years I have found not only the best low mileage original owner vettes but also the best prices on Craigslist local ads.
Nearly two years ago I picked up this LMB 2007 Z51 3LT with every available option but 2 tone seats and stickered for $66,295 from the original owner. It had all the original paperwork, window sticker, DVD's and a brand new still sealed brochure with 2,751 miles and still under factory warranty for $34k.

fyi, just in case anyone is interested, called them about the orange 07, said they did not have a carfax but would get one if i pay $15.
more importantly, she said it came from an insurance sale and has a salvage title.
that may fit for others but will not work for me.
