WTB: C6, 2008, A6, Triple black or Victory Red, 3LT, F55, NAV, convertible
I want to buy a low milage (<35000) model 2008 convertible with doorsticker 2007 for export to The Netherlands.
Triple black or Victory red/black-black, Automatic/paddle shift, 3LT package, options F55-Navigation. Preferable Dual mode exhaust also.
Car should come with both FOB's, all manuals, Maintenance book and preferable maintenance records. Original window sticker and built sheet are appreciated.
A two tone black on black with embroidered headrests is most wanted, but very rare. A cashmere/linen on black two tone will be considered for sure in the black exterior.
First contact by email and should have (copy of) car fax, picture of doorsticker and detailed pictures of drivers seat (seat cushion and lumbar door side for condition/wear).
Final deal after visit and test drive.

I cant believe that I found this thread...I have what your looking for my fellow vette head..
You are correct about the triple black convertible limited availability, especially with a 6sp manual, I paid an extra 1500 just for the locator as I think they found it somewhere out in California.
I listed the vehicle on ebay motors a few days ago and just remembered about the forum....so I reclaimed my password from 2009 and did a search. Too funny...
Anyway the item listing for your viewing is item#:290802559472
Although the mileage is higher than your preference at 47500, you will not be disappointed as I have invested many thousands of dollars in this baby. She needs a new home with someone I know will take good care of her.

Thanks for the information. It has no F55. Has no clean car fax.
And due to tax penalty's (4000 USD because of CO2 emission regulations) when built after December 2007, I am looking for an early 2008 model.

Is that 4k penalty on a used car also or just new, just curious how it works if you buy a used vette say listed for 40k, is there a 4k tax added on to that? Doesn't seem right to me. Don't you just love our Gov't, filler up with premium and some corn sugar.

Unfortunately that is how it works. Buy a used car from outside the Netherlands and you have to pay a CO2 emission tax when the car is first registered/owned after 1 feb 2008. Because the LS3 has an emission of 309 gram per kilometer you pay after that date appr. 4k USD more.
That is the law over here. Same thing that I have to pay a tax for the car importing it to my country from e.g. Germany. It is related to car basic price. For a 2008 Corvette in this case it is appr. 10k USD.
On a new car this means the price of a GS is appr. 2,5x higher than in the USA. So hardly affordable.
