Im ready to buy and I'm looking for a wide bodied C6 (preferrably on some nice 3-piece wheels with some mods including heads/cam, full exhaust, etc). Not a must but it would be nice as long as the car is still practical. My intention is to drive it fairly regularly. It wont be a full blown daily driver but close enough to it that I don't want anything too radical where it would be a major maintenance monster.

Ok... As for the car... I'd really like an 08 for the LS3 but older models are fine. Im open to colors but white and black are my favorite. Mileage must be reasonable. Doesn't need to be super low but I don't want 100k mile car either. Somewhere around 40-60k would be fine with me.

I have the approval already so finding the car I want is all I need to do now. I'd like to spend around $30k. Less would be nice but somewhere around there is my target. Of course car, mods, mileage, etc will all play a factor in figuring out what I'd be willing to spend on the particular vehicle.

Let me know what you guys have. Again... MUST BE WIDEBODY and MUST have an M6. No verts!! I can buy a Z06 but I plan to do the motor work myself so I really can't justify spending the extra $12-$15k for one... Hence why I'm going this route.

Thanks for the heads up! I saw that one and was going to pass since it seemed no one was having luck getting in contact with the guy but what the hell... I posted anyway. Hope he calls. Local sure would be nice. Also lookin at the yellow one in Cali but thats a long way away from Houston.

I'd love a real z06 but im trying to keep my spending around $30k which is why i'm on the hunt for a C6 with a wide body z06 or zr-1 kit. If i was willing to go up to 40-45k though, id be all about buying a super low mile Z06 or V2.

i really really hate to even consider it but you are asking for exactly my car. but considering i dont want to sell, I'd have to take more than 30k.

Sounds like a sick car man and you being local is awesome! I just don't know if I'd be willing to pay more than $30k for an 05 with 50k. Saw a couple pics of it and I love it but I have a couple 07's i'm considering and an 08 that are all either 30k or really close to it. Only bad thing is 2 are out of state and one is in Dallas. Lmk if you'd take $30k. At that point... I might be game...

I have a 2006 Black 6 speed with wide rear with 28,250miles. Excellent outside and perfect interior. Chrome and Black Z06 style wheels. 525+ HP engine build for dependability and durability not max power. Asking $31,500. I haven't posted on the forum or anywhere else yet. Just an update... I have been looking at a few different options but I now have a purchase pending on a car in Dallas. Sale is not complete. On my end, i have the pre-approval... just waiting for the owner to get the title in hand since he just paid it off. Title is in the mail. I'm pretty much set on buying it (since it fits literally everything i want) unless someone can show me a car that competes with it between now and then. Keep the offers coming if u have a good deal to offer on a car that fits my description. Otherwise, I'm set on this car I've found.
