2009 Silver Z06 3LZ, 4800 miles
UPDATE: You know - I think I'm going to keep this PERFECT Z06! I just added Akrapovic Cat Backs and she sounds MEAN! Someone lock this thread up! She's saying in the garage!
------------------
I may entertain a partial trade. You can also pay me in gold and silver if that's an option. Fairly open to creative ideas.
In service date: 01/2011 - Warranty starts then!
This was a $90,000 MSRP car that came out late 2008/early 2009 when everything fell apart. It stayed on the showroom floor until purchased 01/2011.
3LZ Package
Perfect Condition
Car has everything except Nav.
Second owner. I know the 1st owner personally - he buys expensive cars, adds expensive stuff to them, doesn't drive them, then sells them. City Chevrolet in Charlotte, NC installed Kooks longtube headers, Kooks high flow cats to the car. Was dyno tuned after exhaust installed (all done by dealership) - got 501 RWHP. It is strong - but never raced, tracked, etc - just admired and waxes. Have a daughter going to college hence the sale. Don't want to sell it really - don't really have to but would make all the extra expenses easier.
First $55,000 takes. Pretty firm as this is a cream puff. Not going to negotiate much if any as I have a good deal trading. Going to give this a couple of weeks if anyone wants a near perfect Z06.
Located in NC (Near Asheville)
No burn outs - tires are near perfect - always garaged and literally never rained on.

My guess is "new old stock." This Z probably wound up sitting around on a show room for 2.5 years? There always seems to be one or two... I don't think the dealership can use it as a company car without registering it (and thus the in-service date).
You can check the in-service at any GM service dept with the VIN, FWIW.

Great price and nice car, except for now the warranty is no longer valid. Hopefully, the price will attract the right buyer and give this great car a nice home.

Actually the in service date, states the car does have warranty. Even though it was tuned, it wont matter if you find the right dealer.

Really the only work done is exhaust then a tune because I had to in order for the car to perform properly with the exhaust. The dealer in Charlotte did all the work and said the warranty would not be effected. It would be hard to undo what has been done if someone wanted to. Just saying. Thanks for other comments guys! Love this car.
By the way, the work also included a ZR-1 spoiler. All work done by City Chevrolet (Rick Hendrick System)... and cost almost $5000!

The 3LZ option package does not include nav, they're separate options for the Z. It's approximately $3.5K for the 3LZ pkg and $1.7K for nav.

Is their any paperwork involved warranty wise for the new owner?
I understand it's still under factory, so if I bring it in(dealership) no questions asked or do I have to pay a transfer fee?
Does anyone know?

The warranty is on the car not the owner. It simply goes from in-service date for the 3/36 and the 5/100 - this one started Jan. 2011.
