WTT: Shelby GT500 for C6
2007 black on black Shelby GT500 with stripe delete, 14k miles, and over 600hp. I have been a Forum member since 2004 and have owned several Corvettes. This Shelby is pristine! I am a very fastidious person and take great care of my vehicles. Only Zaino products used for cleaning and waxing. Never raced or abused, always garage kept, never smoked in, and all regular maintenance performed with only Motocraft full synthetic 5w50 oil used as recommended by Ford. The black paint is shiny and glossy with no road rash and absolutely NO swirl marks! The only flaw is on the driver side behind the rear tire about the size of a dime where it appears there is something under the rear bumper cover that is pushing out on the bumper. It is very minor, but I want it to be known (see photo below). This Shelby has many tasteful modifications, which make it a wonderful every day driver, but all the power you would want when you want to use it. This Shelby needs nothing. New Nitto NT555R’s on the back in stock sizes. The car comes with a SCT Tuner with the stock tune. I also have the original pulley, plugs, and air intake if someone would want to return the motor to stock. I do not have any dyno or track numbers on the car because it has never been on a dyno or to the track. I wanted a reliable every day driver with a safe tune, so I turned to Jon Lund, who is one of, if not the best, Ford tuners in the country. He used my mods and built me a reliable custom tune, which should still pull over 500 rwhp on a dyno.
I just decided to put the car up for sale and am asking $33,500. I have decided to purchase another C6, so besides the ads I am placing, I thought I would put my Shelby on here to possibly cut out the middle man. All C6 coupe, vert, or Z06 trades will be considered, however I am looking for a clean lower mileage car, and HUD and memory seating is a must have for me. If the C6 being offered up for trade is of lesser value, then I would expect payment to cover the difference, or the C6 is of greater value, then I would be willing to make payment to cover the difference. It’s hard to give specifics without seeing what is offered up as trade first.
Mods:
JLT Cold Air Induction
2.59” Upper Pulley with 90MM Idler (12lbs of boost)
NGK TR6 Plugs
Custom Tune from Jon Lund
Koni Yellow Shocks and Struts
Steeda GT 500 Springs and Shock Mount
UMI Roto Joint, Panhard Bar and Brace along with Subframe Connectors
MGW Shifter
MBRP exhaust
Sony XNV 660 BT Head unit with Bluetooth, DVD, Backup Camera, and USB Thumb Drive
JL Audio 400/4amp. with Hertz Subs and Drivers
Tinted Windows
Optima Yellow Top Battery
New Nitto NT555R’s on the rear
GT500 Stripe Delete

I just made the same swap you are about to. Sold my 07 GT500 w/ 5k and bought an 09 c6. Wish I could have them both.
For anyone skeptical about the mods - I will add this bit. I do not track/race my cars, and bought a GT500 and intended to leave it stock. HOWEVER, the pulley is a MUST on these cars. It totally changes the character of the car, so much more low-end torque that you feel just driving around town. With the pulley/tune/intake you can literally get your kicks going from 2000-4000 RPM, you dont have to wind the car out like a stock GT500. The lowering springs are so much more aesthetically pleasing, as Ford jacks the hell out of the rear for some reason. Also, the nittos on the rear are a must. These cars have so much damn power the stock tires break loose at the slightest hint of acceleration.
Truly an awesome car, GLWS!
