Car designed for HPDE days, and still be enjoyed on the street. You have 630 engine horsepower, 345 series tires on the rear, and lots of downforce. The cornering and braking on this car is unbelievable, thanks to front and rear downforce, and the carbon fiber vents for the big Stoptech brakes. Upgrades cost a little under $150K, in addition to the cost of the car, to get low lap times, safety, and reliability on the track.

The car has race parts throughout for reliability, and is currently detuned for excellent street manners. On previous cam the engine dynoed at 730 HP but had some surge for street use so I put the milder camshaft in. With close ratio gearbox and extended redline to 7500 RPM the car never drops out of the powerband and just keeps pulling.

If you are doing track days in a car like this where you can easily reach 160-170 mph, you need a roll cage and fire extinguisher system and this car has them. Stuff happens on the track and you need to be safe. The car has a SCCA design roll cage with double door bars and a crush zone in the door area to be safe. I had very expensive custom door liners made to make room for the bars.

Vette has been driven enough to get the systems working but only 7000 miles are on it, I estimate that maybe 1/3 the miles are track days. There are some minor scratches/nicks on the car from being on the track.

Bottom Line is that there are very few cars you can't pass on an HDPE day.

This is the real deal - wind tunnel tested ACP bodywork, drop spindles for proper geometry, SCCA legal roll cage by Phoenix, Hutter engine (one of the best builders - has done Earnhardt engines)
