F/S: 2006 Corvette Z06 Velocity Yellow - UNDER 5K Miles
Hello all,
A little back story on this car. My father placed an order for this Vette in 2005 because he wanted the C6's first year of the Z06. So in 2006 he got his brand new Velocity Yellow Z06. Unfortunately, he lost his battle with cancer just five years later and left behind this beautiful car. My stepmother has no use for it, and she would like it sold. I have no use for the vehicle either as I already have a C6 coupe and that's fast enough for me.
Asking $48,000 (OBO)
Details:
2006 Z06
LS7 - 7.0L
6 Speed manual
Velocity Yellow
Bose Navigation stereo system
Heads up display
Traction control and active handling
20" rear tires and 19" front tires - stock
Power seat
*pretty sure the battery is brand new, or maybe a year old*
When I think of more I will add it.
This car has well under 5000 miles on it. I have only driven this car less than a handful of times. It's looks new, smells new, and is basically brand new. My father bought this car with the intentions of collecting it.
THIS CAR HAS NEVER BEEN TO A TRACK, OR MODIFIED IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM -- EVER!!!!
The oil was changed every year even if he put 500 miles on the car that year. It was always serviced by certified GM dealers.
This car was babied, and was parked in a garage its whole life.
My car is above it - I stored it there for a bit of time
Here is another photo of my car and his:
My coupe, his CTS-V(sold), his Z06(again in the garage)
This was taken the day I bought my '09 coupe:
This photo was taken with my little brother and me the other day after I washed the car for my stepmom:
I don't live where the car is stored, so I can't get immediate pictures of the car, but I can ask my step mom to try and snap some, or you'll have to wait for a weekend day when I am free to take one.
Please don't throw out low blow offers, you'd find a car like this for over $50,000 at a dealership EASY. If the price is right we'll think about it and maybe take it, if you throw out a junk offer you will be ignored.
I'm hoping a real corvette enthusiast can buy this car, and enjoy it like my father did when he was around.

Nice ride but you may have to adjust and lower the price to get a better response. This car with all options at that mileage sells here in Florida for 41,000 dealers price. Good luck with sales.

41k is wayyyyy to low.
c'mon guys. Make offers, but anything that sounds close to 40K is just ludicrous.
This isn't Florida, this is New York. This car never saw any weather. The windshield wipers have never been used. This car is BONE STOCK.
You will never find another used Z06 like this so I could care less what a dealership sells them for.

I've thought about it, but yellow just doesn't do it for me...
The hummer you see in the background of one of the photos was his, and he left it for me. So I still have a piece of him with me - at 8mpg (and supercharged).

48 to high, 41 too low. 45 about right. I think the only Z06 I saw on autotrader nationwide that was around 40 had 50k miles. Saw one Velocity yellow with 3k miles listed at 48. Fair price would be 44-45 I would think. Then again, no one around here wants a "fair" price.

Go to ebay and click on completed sales. You won't believe how many corvettes don't sell , my guess 95%. And the ones that do sell, well I'm just glad l don't need to. It was a real eye opener for me, this economy is in bad shape. GLWS you have a nice car. Ron B.

Sorry to hear about your dad. Free bump for you.
Just for info. I dont know alot of guys willing to pay 47-48 for an 06 Z! I bought my 07 form the original owner for 48.5 and the car had 4223 miles on it. I honestly beleive 45 is a fair asking price.
Stick to your guns if you feel that is what you are looking for.
GOOD LUCK WIHT THE SALE.
