Several months ago I was finding the prices to be about $25K for the 05, 06, and a few 07s with reasonable mileage on the clock (about 30K). The prices have risen to about 30 -35K for the same car, which I believe is overpriced, or at least I am not willing to pay that amount for them. I think the prices are finally starting to stabilize and even go down a bit but I don’t plan on buying until they get back down to a more reasonable cost.
Another thing to consider, if an economic “cliff” happens at the end of this year we may see more cars for sale and at reasonable prices. At this point I’m just going to wait and see what happens.

I think what you are seeing is not that car values are rising but that the reasonably priced cars have been sold and what you have left are the overpriced ones. I do all my buying in the Jan-May period because by the time you get to mid May most of the nice and fairly priced cars are gone and pretty much all that is left are the overpriced and modded cars.

RJRS was believes a c6 with salvage title 12 to 15k I may have proved him wright 10 grand for rest of car though

sorry to be off topic. but does anyone know why there are so many Z06's for sale? i notice that the ratio of Z06 to regular Coupe/GS/Verts are a lot higher on this forum compared to autotrader for example.

The guy that bought my pace car convert came to look at it in a brand new Z06 with 3,000 miles on it. Now 2 years later he drives the pace car convert he bought from me and was bored with the Z06 and sold it.
