2006 DSOM z51 coupe for sale
I have been torn as to whether or not I want to get a z06, put a wide body on this car, keep it as is, or move in a completely different direction. With the news that my life is going to significantly change in roughly 6 months with a new addition to the family, I thought I would go ahead and see if there is interest.
I will describe the car as accurately as possible.
I purchased this car last December and absolutely love it. I have made several upgrades/mods to suite my tastes, but also want to be very clear the car does have 63+/- K on it so it does have some wear. I will list all options, history, and things for a new owner to consider below.
I am not pressed to sell, but am interested in getting a z06, or possibly a CTSV prior to our new addition. If it doesn't sell, I am happy to keep it so please don't low ball me or waste each others time.
Description:
2006 DSOM z51 coupe (I believe 3lt)
- Ebony interior in excellent condition with one small quarter sized wear spot on the driver bolster
- Nav, 6spd, heated /dual power seats, HUD, onstar, homelink, tilt/tele wheel, etc.
- Lloyd mats front and rear
- Hurst short shifter with hurst white ****
- Ace slick wheels with nitto invo tires 275 /305
- Bilstein sport shocks
- Lowered on stock bolts in front and aftermarket in rear - it is not slammed
- New (this year) rotors, pads, and painted calipers
- B&B PRt exhaust
- legal VA window tint
- clear top only
- z06 rear spoiler
- new harmonic balancer and belts this past summer
- Halltech CAI
- owners manual, case, 2 keys and valet keys
I am the second owner and carfax indicates there was an incident in 2006 - the previous owner kept if for @ 4 years after and I have not been able to determine where/if it has ever been repaired or damaged.
Issues:
1. Front fascia has chips and scrapes on the bottom, and front edge. It could use a respray. I have been quoted $400 to repaint. I have not done this yet because I have been considering a wide body.
2. Drivers rocker is broken as a result of an improper tie down on a car hauler. I have been quoted $350 for fiberglass repair.
3. Passenger seat back zipper is broken. this is completely unnoticeable, but I wanted to disclose. I am guessing less than $75 to fix.
Mechanically the car is A+, and I get compliments every time I drive it. My wife says the imperfections I have mentioned are only noticeable to me, but I want to be upfront with everything.
Price: $25000 obo
I will try to get additional pics up once it clears up a bit.

I have been asked about the "incident" and if the title is clean. Carfax shows an accident on 5/27/07, not 2006 as I mentioned previously - sorry, was going by memory. I just pulled the carfax again and the reported accident happened under 21k miles. I have the carfax if anyone is interested. Thanks.

Good luck, I just sold my 2006/3LT non-Z51 DSOM coupe for a price not much lower than what you're currently asking, and mine had 87,000 miles on it and wasn't in as great shape as yours (also had 2 minor accidents that I disclosed to potential buyers but for some reason didn't show up in the carfax). I'm sure a lot of the guys that were interested in my car will love yours

Here are additional pics as requested. Please note that these pictures are taken from the ground and give the best view of what I have tried to describe. They are not noticeable unless you are looking for them and bend over.
Thanks.
Thanks.
