There is a very distinct sound difference between the two Z's....but you would have to know what you are looking for to see a visual difference between the two.

Before I go through with removing the heads and switching the car back over to 93 octane, I want to throw out a price of $44k with everything. This price is only available until I find a buyer for the heads...so either I sell the car for $44k with all the modifications, E85, heads, cam, motor, etc... or I find a buyer for the heads and swap over to stock heads, stock intake manifold, and stock throttle body and drop the price down to $43k.
So again.
$44k take the car with heads, cam, motor, E85, everything...you would own a car that is as built for an all motor car as damn near possible. Car makes 550/510 on a Mustang dyno, car is probably a low 10 sec car with this setup....my personal goal was a 9.99 or better, but that would have taken a lot of seat time and a fantastic DA.

Bump
I will keep the thread updated if I end up removing the WCCH heads or the FAST/NW102 combo and the price will reflect the difference. The car would then be re-tuned for pump gas 93 octane.

They are heavier than I had figured they would be. I think if I do another drag pack for a car, I will stick with Weld's honestly. Just my opinion.

Very Nice Car! I wanted to do the same E85 mods to mine before I sold it...I cashed out at close to a $20k loss before the vette market took a dump for the winter...
Good luck with your sale,
Lopez

I had a guy come up today and check the car out, so we'll see...everything went decent except he was not ready to buy for a few weeks, so we'll see.
I am looking for 2 different buyers at the moment.
Buyer 1 - wants the car complete for $42k
Buyer 2 - wants the 13.8:1 heads and I will convert the car back to pump gas.
So whoever shows up first wins. Because I'm losing money no matter who shows up. Got to love the modifying car game. lol

E85 is just not the easiest thing to sell....it works great for people who have access to the fuel, but for everyone else, E85 is just too inconvenient. I will also be sure to dyno the car on a dynojet for all the people that care about seeing big dyno sheets. I may even run the car on the new setup and let people know what it runs as of today vs. what it ran on the old setup.
