Default FRESH built 2006 C6 Z06

---Updated price on last post----

I just got a new motor installed. Original motor pop'd a piston, cracked a sleeve in the block, bent a valve. We opt'd to go with a brand new block and a fresh build. Stock internals tho. Doug Rippie Motorsports has built this car, they can be contacted on this forum (forum sponsor) to verify the build.

Mods as follows:
FAST 102 intake
FAST Fuel rails
Nick Williams 102 TB
Kooks 1 7/8" headers (no cats)
Kooks 3" x-pipe (no cat)
Stock exhaust with Mild to Wild (cutouts)
Comp Cam (242/250 650/650 110lsa)
Heads from WCCH
Air Raid intake
Mild to Wild switch

Tint:
-front windsheild 35%
-side windows 20%
-Rear hatch 20%

Brakes
-BRAND new pads AND rotors
-NEW SS brake lines

Tires:
rears are Nitto Invo 345/30/19, 85%
fronts are Nitto Invo 295/30/18, 85%

It dyno'd 548rwhp and 498rwtq on its third pull when alive, so it def needs some break in miles (this dyno is known to be very low). im hoping it gets a lil bit higher, should be next week when we re-dyno as i will have about 700 miles on this new engine.

Price is 50K. I can assist with transport as well. Miles are currently 53300 on the chassis and 2100 on new engine.

Update 10/18/11: another dyno session resulted in 568rwhp and 494rwtq. A/f is 12.2-12.8 thru the band.

Smoking car being sold by a very stand up guy who I sold my old 98 C5 Roadster to, powered by a 427 C5R engine.

AJ,

You just built this beautiful Z bro, what gives, knowing you, you stumbled across a ZR1 that you just have to have?

This is a sweet machine in one of my favorite colors with a brand new fresh high performance heads/cam engine just built by one of the best LS engine builders around.

Best of luck to you AJ (but I say you keep this bad boy)!

Thanks Nick!!!

Thanks Jimmy. She is very fun to drive and having everything being brand new is a plus. This car needs nothing and is turn key, race ready.

I am selling bc I have found two cars I kinda want to go after. 03' supercharged viper and an 06' Aston Martin Vanquish. But who knows... Things happen for a reason right.

Aj

Just changed engine oil, brake fluid, clutch fluid, trans oil and diff fluid. $400 worth fluids, all synthetic race fluids, nothing but the best.
1400 mi break in on new motor and running fantastic. Does not leak or eat oil.
Turn key, loaded, 550+ rwhp car here.

I didn't see the car's actual mileage listed in your description but the one photo shows a little over 51,000.

Is that a recent photo and still correct with 51,000+ total miles on the car?

Sorry about the mileage, I over looked that.
It is currently 53300 on chassis and 2100 on the new engine.
I dyno'd it again last week and the best number was 568rhp 494rtq.

Dealers are offering 41k, the car is worth more private party. I am not a distressed seller at all, so I'm not taking a 41k or lower offer. Plus the fact that I have over 10k in aftermarket performance parts that are basically new, plus a rand new engine (out my pocket, not dealer), I have 17k in the build. So asking upper 40's isn't unreasonable I think.
Or.. I could be wrong.

Its a very nice car. I think its the miles that are hurting you. Had you forged the engine I would be considering it. For what im wanting to do its needed. Good luck in your sale and im sure someone will be very happy. Bump.

Thanks for the words. My goal was for a reliable driver that makes good hp, that's how it was built. Didn't need a forged engine bc I have another blower ready ls7 thats ready to go in this car. That motor could be included in the sale price.
