I'm sorry to disagree, but I sold 'vettes for several years ('02 to '05), and a modded 'vette is a very tough sell. And if you can do better than $.25 on the dollar for your mods, you are doing well. So yes, your statement that it's worth more than stock could be true, but you will probably not get much of your mod money back.

I've been very close on some trades, but car is still available as I've been working insane hours and no time to pursue it.
HummelS: You are correct. Totally limits the buyers and $.25 cents on the $1 is realistic average. Sometimes if the mods aren't chosen well, cars will sell below what they would stock! There have been just a few exceptions such as I sold a 1400 HP '02 TT Viper and received about $.75 cents on the dollar. Some UG Racing cars sell for high return on the mods, but overall very uncommon.
BADZ: Thanks: the cover came from WCC and it one of the nicest I've come across.
Trpblk04: I'm okay with differences of opinion. That's what makes the world go around and if you think the C6Z is an example of a highly over-engineered platform then you either don't understand the terminology or don't have knowledge of cars that are truly over-engineered. Either way it not worth arguing and esp in a for sale thread.
Andi 3101 - Thanks for the offer and that is a very nice car you have there, but it would either need to be an 08 GT2, ZR1, or Mazarati Grand Turismo S MC Ltd Ed. There are many other cars I'd also consider, but the list is complicated to explain (mostly cars I see as great investments).
JimHCDAO, I received your photos and will e-mail you back.
Happy Independence Day to Everyone!!

Subscribing to thread. Trying to sell my 03 Cobra right now. If your car is still around when I do, I would be interested in talking to you more about it. Thanks.

This thread has been going on for some time, is it really that difficult to sell such a beautiful ride ??
I am torn between the New GS or a Z06, but in my opinion the Cyber Gray is the best color for the Z06 and the GS body style.
Good luck with the sale. I can't believe this ride is still avaliable!

To be honest I threw this ad up because I had found a great deal on a Cyber Gray ZR1 and then that deal fell through. I've been traveling/working too many hours to try and find another Cyber ZR1.
If someone comes along with a $58k no hassle offer, I'll let her go and if not I'm in no hurry until I locate another Cyber 2010 ZR1. This Z just sits and has been driven to the store and back by my wife once since the photos were taken.

If I hadn't just bought my CG 2010 coupe last September, I would be heading south down I-85 as I write this.

absolutely a great price
unbelievable! This year, this price. This is a below wholesale price. My store just took in a JSB 09 Z06 for $61k. Will probably be priced at $69K. Of course it only had 57 miles on it. He traded on a ZR1. He pulled his two other trades: Shelby GT500 and Chevy SSR.
Someone let me know what job I need to have to be able to do this.
Forum member is offering a steal. Below wholesale.

Selling your car in less than 60 days
Someone commented in the thread about the length of time the seller has been trying to move it. Average time to sell a used car is 60 to 90 days. Most high volume stores have a 60 turn. As a private seller he is on track..
Think I am wrong? Write the check. Challlenging times take a little longer. I had my 07 C6 3LT Vert autom Nav, HUD, Z55 3LT, 26k, appraised at Carmax for $32k, at the beginning of June. They were too low. Granted the car needed tires. But a trip to the auction netted me $35500 at the beginning of June. Car was spotless.
Timing is everthing. It took me 2 days, and 6 months of preparation. Bids at the auction got up to $35k. I told my man to send it back to me. He had worked the buyer up from $32 to $35. Not enough. When the buyer offered $35.5K. I took it and ran.
He has a great price on this car. Way below wholesale.

Yes it is still available. work is hectic and not much time to pursue anything but a straight forward sale if its going to go. $58k cash takes it. Feel free to call (253) 569-3200 and speak with my wife. She has the title and knows the car as well as I do. She doesn't need me to close the deal and is about the most straight up person you'd ever want to deal with. Her name is Valerie. Please don't call if you are wanting to wheel and deal.
Thanks!
Thanks!
