I could be very interested in this car if it were not for the fact that I would not receive title upon purchase. It says in your ebay ad that there is a lien with Cap One to pay first. Sorry, but when I hand over $22000 in US dollars, I expect to be handed back a clear title with lien already released. Once before, I lost all my purchase money by waiting for a title, when the previous owner was planning all along to repo the car instead of sending title. Police were no help at all when state lines were involved.

Can you not complete the transaction at the bank that holds the title so that you get it cleared at the same time the funds are handed over? If you couldn't be there in person could you wire the money to the bank in trust so that the seller gets what's left after clearing the debt?

Yea i know what the guy above is saying it is a risky procedure. Thats why whenever i get a car and need to have a lein on it, i go with my credit union and they keep the title 10 mins away from my house.

Capital One is an online bank, so I doubt there's a facility to do business at. Thanks for the wire suggestion though.
I'm hoping the seller contacts me, and didn't just join to post his ebay link
