Dealer has offered $43,000 on trade, so 45K or best offer over 43K takes it. 24,000 miles, stock. Car has never been tracked or abused. The color is machine silver, has 2LZ equipment pkg, navigation system, Bose Premium Sound, competition gray wheels, recent OEM tires, most of car wrapped in clear bra since new so paint is perfect, all documentation. California registered through December 2010. Garage kept and mint condition. Lloyd's Z06 mats, original mats still in factory wrappers, cover, CAGS eliminator (not installed.) Car is located in Fremont, CA. Contact Jeff (jdracing on the forum) or call (650) 678-877Six.
Original in-service date was 12/9/06, so nothing left of the original bumper to bumper warranty. Happy to answer specific questions via PM, e-mail (jdracing@comcast.net), or phone posted above. I know we all love our Vettes and take special care of them, and I'm no exception. I am also posted on e-Bay and Craigslist, and figured the first serious person who looked at it would buy it--it's that nice in my very biased opinion. No one's followed through on their request to visit it yet.
Selling it to get a ZR1, or I'd probably be buried in the Z06.

Figured I should post this in my own thread, since I was uncouth enough to have already posted it in someone else's:
The clear bra is custom cut VentureShield, rather than the 3M pre-cut kits. All badges removed and replaced over the bra. Anyway, in case anyone's interested, here's the group that did the work--and if you click on the silver Z06 Corvette thumbnails, that's mine being covered.
A) What's the build date? B) If its an early build, is it the original valve train?
You have a dealer offering you $43K on 24K miles?...take it and RUN!
GLWS
Wouldn`t you also save about 3g`s in sales tax with trading it in? That`s like getting $46,000 for your car! SOLD! At least that`s what makes most sense to me, but what do I know? One aspect I really like about this car is the clear wrap on all the important body panels. Keeps it as mint as humanly possible, short of non use of course, which never made sense to me with these cars. GLWS and enjoy your new ZR1 you lucky s.o.b.
Thanks for your comments. Build date is October 2006, so it's before the valve train issues (to the extent they exist). Valve covers have never been off. And here in wonderful California, there's no tax breaks on trade ins. Still pay tax on the full amount of the new car regardless.
And I can't complain about the trade in prices I've been offered by a couple of forum dealers on a ZR1 (at near invoice!). Happy to sell it locally at a bit over 43K and save shipping it to the dealer.
