I’ve decided it’s time to sell my widebody 2008 C6 6spd. It has 6800 miles, and has been pampered and had only the highest quality work done to it. This car has well over $15k invested in it. Here is a list of the specs:
Black 2008 1lt coupe 6spd
Installed by Richie Collision in Houston
Z06 widebody quarters (still has stock bumper and fenders)
Z06 replica wheels
Installed by Corvettes of Houston
Bilstein shocks and Borla swaybars (better than Z51 suspension)
Borla LG Pro Longtube headers with Catted X-pipe
Callaway C6 Cold Air Induction with K&N Filter
Installed by MTI (Motorsport Technologies) in Houston:
Ram Corvette street dual clutch with flywheel
Thresher 550 package which included:
MTI Stage IIE L92 Hand Ported Cylinder Heads, Assembled with Double Valve Springs, Titanium Retainers and Hardened Spring Seats
GM Head Gaskets
ARP Head Bolts
MTI Thresher LS3 Camshaft
MTI Hardened Chromemoly Pushrods
MTI Ported LS3 Intake Manifold
Billy Boat Bullet Exhaust
NGK TR55 Spark Plugs
Hypertech 160* Thermostat
MTI Custom PCM Dyno Tuning
The car also has a Kenwood touch screen stereo/navigation (powered by garmin and better than stock nav) and JL speaker system and subwoofer.
After tuning the car was dynoed at 500rwhp / 465rwtq
Here are some videos of the car running, startup, idle, nav/audio, cruising, and accelerating (although not full throttle, the car is too much to handle to try and take a video at the same time! )
The car is a beast and rides like a dream. I love the car, but it's just too much for the contstant city driving I'm doing now, and I'm close to pulling the trigger on a A6 Grand Sport
The tuning job was professionally done by MTI, and the car has NONE of the common problems associated with tuned engines (lurching/jerking at low RPMs on highway, misfires/knocking of any kind, etc). It has never been to the track or strip, but it is definitely ready for it.
If you’re a serious buyer, or you have any questions about the car, or you would like a copy of the vehicle history report, please contact me through a PM. Selling price is $39,000. Reasonable offers will be considered!
Thanks for looking,
Will

Reason: Sale pending
The short answer to your first question is yes, it does void the warranty. Currently the warranty on the car has not been voided by a dealer, but most dealers will do that if you bring the car in and ask for something to be covered under the warranty. Dealers are getting more stringent on this, so the likelihood that you will find a lax dealer that will cover stuff is pretty small.
I am the second owner. It's a bit of a sad story.. the original owner had the work done in Houston and didn't really want to sell the car, but he has cancer and couldn't really drive the car anymore. I have a lien on the car so the title is at the bank (clean and clear title).
The car is simply awesome, but like I said earlier, it's just too much of a car for me, so I'm looking to get an automatic C6 or GS, and hopefully not take too much of a bath on the car in the process
I'm in Northern VA....someone is supposed to be buying my car next week. Assuming that goes through, I might come down and take a look at it if you don't mind. What size are the tires (both front/rear) and how much tread is left?

Sounds great, just send me a PM if you want to come look at the car. I have to check on the tire size, but there is good tread left on them.
Should be closing on the title/paperwork in a couple of days and shipping out to Arizona. Thanks for the interest everyone! Too bad this beast isn't going to someone on the forum, but I know the guy in Arizona is going to be enjoying himself in the near future!
