I have a yellow 2006 Z06 with 15,000 miles for sale. It recently lost an engine most likely due to a manufacturing flaw thats seems to be common in less then 1% of the LS7's. The car in located in southern California and would be a great deal for someone looking to do a lot of performance upgrades or someone who wants to save some money buy dropping an engine in on their spare time. The car is in great shape and is mostly stock. Only aftermarket accessories include new tires & factory Z06 wheels power coated black and a passport 9500ci fully intergraded radar detector and laser gammer (best on the market, $3k installed).
You can read more about the car on my other threads. I'm also considering installing a new 650+HP engine and keeping it for myself but for personal reasons I would consider letting it go if the right kind of buyer came along.
Sorry for the delay everyone. The car's 3 years were up on the warranty so it's no longer covered.
No engine mods, Just the new wheels, tires and built in radar detector. It's a very clean car I just thought for the price it would be a good opportunity for someone looking to have a custom engine built for them anyway.
I have got a lot of offers of people wanting it for the less then the cost of repairing it to stock and selling it on eBay or elsewhere. That is not going to happen. The best I could do is $36k. If you're looking for a junker for $20K under-market value please dont PM me. This price is more then fare and I for the right person it's a very good deal.
The other option is I can have a custom engine built and installed for someone looking to buy a complete running supper car.

OK, Just to recap. This car is in great shape it just needs a new short block or some other kind of customized engine. I'm willing to sell it for $36,000 as is or I will have it built to the new owners specifications at cost.
For someone who wants a Z06 with a custom engine they would have to buy a running Z06 for $45k+ then spend the money to do the upgrades. That same person could save $9k+ by purchasing my car.
Yes the rod is sticking out the side of the block. I dont know the full existent of the damage yet. Most likely will require a new small block. You should be able to find a used small block for $3500.
if the rod is hanging out, it likely needs at least a head on it too. (long block then, not short block.), plus oil lines, oil cooler, etc. If at some point you get serious about a price drop I'd be interested in it as a track car, take the LS7 motor I had planned for another project and use it for this.
