DETROIT, June 30 (Reuters) - Bankrupt U.S. automaker General Motors Corp (GMGMQ.PK: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Tuesday it would offer zero percent financing for up to 72 months on most of its soon to be discontinued Pontiac brand and some other vehicles.
The automaker, which opened a U.S. Bankruptcy Court hearing into a government-brokered sale of its best assets on Tuesday, said the sale would run from July 1 to July 6 on 2009 and 2010 vehicles in dealer stock.

The sale covers several Chevrolet and GMC pickups, some large SUVs, the Chevrolet Impala and Pontiac Vibe, G3, G5, G6 and G8 models. GM also is offering zero percent financing for up to 60 percent on several other vehicles. (Reporting by David Bailey; Editing by Phil Berlowitz)

Saw a Chevrolet ad in the paper yesterday for their 4th of July Sale. It stated 0% financing 72 months on Chevs and none of the vehicles it showed in the ad were Vettes. Of course this doesn't rule them out of the sale. I think the paper was USA Today.

If I could find a leftover 08, I'd be VERY interested in it, given the 0% deal. But finding one seems a bit of a pipe dream...

Yes there are 08s and ever some 07s on the lot still. Most are high optioned, or awkwardly optioned cars that may be demos or held onto by small town lots that try to get MSRP on their 1 Corvette sale for the year.

go to the Jeff Hardy link posted below.

IF THAT WORKS FOR YOU THATS GOOD, BUT REMEMBER YOU ARE BUYING A TWO YEAR OLD VETTE. IF I WERE IN THE MARKET TO BUY ONE I WOULD LOOK AT A NEW 08 IF THE DEAL WAS GOOD ENOUGH. JMO
