I've decided I would like to try out a C6Z06. I have seen some good deals on ebay, but need to sell one of my other cars to make room for one. Right now I have a blown Camaro that has waay too much $$$ invested in it and my beloved 1997 Viper GTS. I love both my cars, but it makes more sense to get rid of the Viper since I don't need 2 cars that are that similar. My camaro is more of a drag car anyway.
So anyway, I will trade my Red (no stripes) 1997 Viper GTS plus some cash for your C6Z06. I would prefer black, but will consider other colors as well. Must be clean and have a clear title with no accidents (like my Viper).

Car is super clean. Only "flaw" would be where the front fascia has scraped going into driveways, very common. Car has been inspected by a very respected Viper builder and has been very well maintained. It was 100% bone stock when I bought it, I just did small mods to make it more enjoyable to drive. It runs perfect, and every thing works (A/C, power windows, alarm, etc.). I love this car, if I had the space I would keep it because it is the most amazing car I've owned thus far. Owning a Viper is an awesome experience. Its instant rock star status. I've won 2 car shows and get compliments everywhere I go. I've owned dozens of bad ass cars, nothing gets the looks like this. I've never had a car that people would stop and take pictures of.
My preference would be for a black 2006-2007 Z06, light mods OK (cat back, headers, intake, etc), average miles, very clean. Again, other colors considered, depends on price and condition. I have some pics of the car but not with the new wheels (weather sucks here). I will get new ones asap.
I am located in Champaign Il. I'm willing to travel for the right deal.
I'm sure more than one of you will ask why I want to trade, and that's a good question. I love cars, its my passion. I've owned many many nice cars, mostly chevys. I have always wanted a Viper since I was a kid. I have also, however, wanted several other cars too. I can't afford to own 50 cars so I have to trade/sell to own something different. I love the C6Z06, I always considered it a "must have one day".
I recently found out that I have cancer again. I won't go into details but while I hope for the best there is a decent chance I won't have another 20 years to live (I'm 31 now FYI). So I want to own as many of my "dream cars" as I can while I can. I am not "sick" yet, so I still enjoy my toys frequently.
Its hard to part with my Viper, but I can always get another if I want to. That being said, there are more cars on the list....

WOW...sorry to hear about the heath...my mom had cancer a few years ago and beat it...you WILL too! Anyways, GL with getting as many dream cars as you can. Ive just got a lowly black c5z that I would trade ya lol
You are 31 now - by the time you are 51 we may have a cure for cancer. Never give up and remember there are alot of people out there who will be praying for you my friend.
Had surgery and lost 2/3 of my right lung, BUT they are optimistic about having removed most (hopefully all, but you never know) of the cancer. I'm sore as hell, but recovering and looking forward to summer.
I have about $12K I could offer with my trade, FWIW. I just drove the Viper over the weekend (not supposed to be driving, but I had to), man with the new gears this thing is pretty quick! Keep in mind my other car is an 850 HP beast, so it takes a little to impress me. I wish I could have all 3 cars!
I'll be OK, so far the outlook is positive (as much as it can be anyway). It could be much worse. I feel like hell right now but I'll recover. You know how it is, when you're hurt everything sucks. It'll pass though. Nothing like a new car to cheer you up, right? Just gotta find the right deal. I talked to a couple dealers who apparently don't understand how to price cars and wanted damn near $60K for a used 06 Z06 (low mile, 7K)! I'm seeing them for mid 40's on ebay all day, my car is worth about $35K at best so I'm hoping to find a nice one around $45K.
My other car is a 2002 Z28 that I have invested entirely too much $$$ in. It has a 408, D1SC blower, built tranny, 12 bolt, etc etc etc. Its fast and pretty much set up for the track although I mainly use it on the street. Its kind of my baby, can't part with it. No one would pay me what I'd need anyway.
