Hey fly out and take it home. Be a fun trip back. I did this when I bought the Z06 from Arizona. Yellow is a great color....I own a black car and what a pain to clean every three days. Yellow stays clean for a lot longer and is a great sportscar color.

Great price yes....cheap no. Just got the wheels balanced. I am very picky and one should be if you are looking to buy this car. No games...take a look at pics on Cars.com

Had one guy come out and test drive it. Didn't really like how he drove it. People sure like to beat on your car sometimes. Guy drives through the divider getting onto the freeway. Guy wanted to buy at 41K but could tell he wanted to lowball the price much much lower. We did find a small nail in one of the new rear tires. Been there a while but no harm as pressure holds. Said I would take $500 off for the tire even though I knew it could be fixed. Guy refused to buy my car which is actually fine with me...getting sellers remorse. Fixed the tire for free and I think I am going to stand firm on 42,900 cash. I think it is dumb to sell this wonderful car for much cheaper. Too many people on here trying to offer 40K, 38K or less. Crazy and shows how screwed the economy has become and has an effect on the sportscar market. I would rather keep the car for a while that give it away. Saying that I think the thread will die. One thing many fellow forum members have said and it is true "Don't expect to sell a corvette one here unless you are giving it away". Very true!

dont expect to sell here unless giving away is right.dude, you should see what i went through selling a 04 coupe with 15k.back and fourth with the sale over $300.00.it sold but on this forum, they must steal it.all the reason's come out why your price is too high from the bad ecomomy,gm going under,if ony it was blue, black, red,ao,or purple,to my favorite "if you only lived next door".yes all these thing's are true.so they should not be spending money foolishly on sport's car's.weather it's your 43k asking price or 38k,39k,40k. with a ecomony like this.get your money.dont give in.im gonna get me a new base 09 z06 in the fall.good luck dude...al.

Well it's really simple. There are a lot more people selling Z06's than that are buying. I wouldn't try to sell it right now unless you absolutely have to. There are a lot of people with these cars that have to sell and will take a hit to get it gone. Those are the people you are competing with. Those are the people driving the prices down. Keep and enjoy the car if you can.

ya...in my opinion, if i still had my c6 i would sell it asap. I only see the market and economy weakening more. I am normally right on these things just like i was 6 months ago.

Basically all assets in our economy are being devalued..houses..stocks..
cars..etc.
People offer low cause they know next year the car will be worth
even less than in would normally devalue on account of recent
events in the economy. If you're secure your probably
better off enjoying the car cause you won't be able to replace it
at your price....

Someone who needs $$$ will be better off letting a
car go cheap now than holding out for 6 months for a top dollar offer.
But if this Z06 can't sell quickly then I don't see any of 'em going
without a huge amount of struggle and or time.

Well I am financially secure, but i still hate anything of mine losing value, no matter how big or small if i can help it. I guess thats along with a set of traits i built up on my way to becoming financially secure. I think this holds true for most people that are successful, unless they were born into wealth. The most well off people i know (talking hundreds of millions) are the biggest penny pinchers!

And cheap now is most likely nothing compared to what cheap may become in several months. 6 months is not going to save auto prices one bit, more likely to continue a slow decline.
That said I think this is a fair price and great deal for someone. If I had a few K more to play with I'd make the jump, right now though I'd rather have the few K for security than dropped into a car.

Car is not for sale right now. I am gonna keep it for a while. Too much fun for the money and most people on here were trying to offer me 40K or below. Crazy and see the Z06's are holding better in price now which is nice to see. This could be the last of the 427's if GM goes under. With Obama having no clear plan to revive the economy, horrible car sale numbers, and stricter emissions coming this could be the last of the GM muscle cars.
