I think it just goes to show the economy is reflecting low sportscar sales. Gas mileage should not be an issue...took trip and this 7.0L got a little over 26mpg. Not bad for a 427!!! Hehe!

unfortunately the economy is bad and is slowly getting worse before it turns around. there still hasn't been any significant plans that look promising yet, which keep econmy in fear of spending still. then the problem is you have buyers like myself that know if we buy the car it will most likely depreciate fast as each month passes...or we have the option to wait and let the sellers take a couple more hits, which is what is happening. sucks and im sorry man. i have watched this thread carefully cause i thought this car broke that fine line deal on a Z that would actually move it...but i guess not.

I hear you there. I have had a few offers for 43, 41 and 38K. One fell through...I will be patient and if one comes around so be it. This car is so much fun to drive and in no hurry to sell. I think the Z06 will hold in the 40K range like the Vipers did for a while. We will see if the economy worsens much more. It will probably take a year or two before a decent recovery occurs.

Bump still for sale....I will not take 38K or 40K guys. There are a lot of LS2 C6's at that price here. Own your own Z06 loaded with factory warranty for only 43K!!! This car is it and am not going to give it away. 2LZ package blk/blk...Lloyd mats...NAV....heated seats...tilt....memory etc. I know this is the best price on here so stop looking or wasting money on a supercharged 6.0L!!! Not in a real hurry to sell but it is here for 43K. No tricks.....disspointments and a clear title.

Wow... great price. If I knew they were going to come down this much, I would have waited on buying my LS2 and throwing $16k in mods into it.....
I can't believe it isn't sold yet!!!!

Car hits 20K miles this weekend.
I hear you man...can't believe it is not sold. I could have sold it for a several thousand less but I cannot do it. I am not gonna give it away and when I drive it to work I have second thoughts all the time. This car is still king for a sportscar under 100K. 3000 pounds and a well built 427!!! I cannot believe it gets 26-27 mpg on the highway. It is funny!!!!

Sir,
I'm absolutely dumbfounded by the fact that this particular Z06 at such a great price hasn't sold..............WOW!!!
Why not hold onto it a bit longer. I'm sure you paid quite a bit for it. I say enjoy it. Wait for the market to catch up and then sell it in the high 30's. Or maybe consider a different option.
I personally owner financed one of my vettes to some young man. Didn't charge him interest on the note, which he considered a big plus. I took a $5000.00 deposit on it and he made the rest of the payments in a timely manner. The way I saw it was, I had nothing to lose. In the event that he didn't make the payments, I would keep the deposit plus whatever payments made and get my car back (we had a legal contract drawn up and notarized). I was covered and felt it was a win/win situation for me. As it turns out, everything went without a hitch. The only glitch............he crashed the vette while he was still making payments, but he made good on his promise and the insurance took care of him anyway. He now has the title in hand.
I still see him driving around in it from time to time with a smile from ear to ear. Seems like he's always with a different girl as well.
Personally, I believe anyone paying $40,000.00 plus for any vehicle, is and should be taking care of it . Anyway, just a thought....Good luck selling the car and God bless!!

42K takes it....no trades or partial payments. This is a steal...just talked to dealer and they are trading in between 46-43K depending on miles. This is without markup and other extras they try to get you to buy.

If all checks out (and no reason for me to believe it would not) this should be gone by the end of the month (especially with the spring market starting around then)!
