Gary - I can't believe you're selling your beautiful C6!!!

For anybody interested in Gary's C6, I've driven this car and can say that you would be getting an absolutely fantastic ride!!!

This car is in mint condition. You would think it's a completey stock C6 unless you open the hood and see the supercharger. Well....it is essentially stock except for the S/C, rear end, and some great tuning. And it is CLEAN!

I drove the car and it's a C6 you could use as a daily driver - it drives just like a regular A6 Vette until you really open up the throttle. You could drive it to work and around town, drive to the track on the weekend, kick butt on the track, and drive home. It's comfortable on the street and wicked on the track (as evidenced by Gary's timeslip of 10.91 seconds in the 1/4 mile!!!).

Gary has put a 3:15 rear end in it, Chuck CoW has done his magic on the transmission so it shifts quick and tight on the track, and Mike Norris has the engine running perfect with the S/C. I drove it around on the street in "S" mode just letting the transmission shift on its own, and it felt smooth and just like a regular A6. We stopped on a straight stretch of road, and when I stuck my right foot down it just launched like a rocket ship!!!!!!

With something like 620 hp at the crank (with the conservative tune on it) it's got power essentially like the new ZR1. I can't believe Gary is selling it after getting it set up so nice, but whoever the next owner is will have one fantastic Vette!!!!

What are you getting next Gary?

Bob

I am interested, recently sold my 06' A6 3LT. Was looking at ZO6 but yours caught my eye. why selling? What does the 2LT not have that the 3LT did? Your vendors are telling us that this is a sweet car.

Gary probably won't be back online again until tomorrow after work, so let me tell you what I know just from seeing the car numerous times and driving it once.

The car does not have Nav or HUD, and it does not have a telescoping steering column.

It does have the full electric power seats (I think both sides). I know when I drove it that the driver's side has full 6-way power adjustment, lumbar support, and adjustable side bolsters.

I don't know about side airbags or heated seats.

Gary can tell you more tomorrow.

I don't know what the boost was for dyno runs, but I imagine the same as it is now. Gary has it tuned pretty conservatively and I think there's more boost and more hp available.

I'm an old man and have had a lot of cars, but I've never owned one with an automatic transmission. When I drove the car we went out to an empty road. I came to a stop and Gary said to put it in "S" and just floor it. I did and just held on while it launched straight as a rifle shot!!! I shut it down after about 1/8 mile in what seemed to be about 2 seconds flat. WOW!!!! No clutching, no shifting - just hold on while the thing acts like a rocket ship on wheels!!!

The boost gauge on the pillar has a "recall" button and when I pushed the button it read that max boost was about 9 psi and Gary said that's what it's tuned for.

So.....that's just some info from my observations of the car until Gary can chime in tomorrow.

Guys, as mentioned this is a very clean and fast car. Gary keeps everything as new as possible and everytime he has come to my shop he is cleaning or waxing her.

Good luck on the sale and Happy B'day Gary.

I went to see the car today, he lives right around the corner. The car is beautiful and well thought out. Looks stock, is a great deal for someone looking for a coupe. If I wasn't looking for a vert I would have bought it today and still thinking about it. Good luck.

You can see 10.901 seconds and 125.81 mph.

Default Price with one set of wheels and tires

Initial listing price included both the OE wheels/tires and the CCW wheels/tires.

I've had some questions about selling the car with just one set of wheels, and yes, it's available with just one set at a reduced price.

If you would like the car with just one set of wheels/tires (and they all have sensors) the price would be:

With just the CCW wheels with Nitto 555's up front and MT DR's in the rear the price would be $38,900.

With just the stock silver painted wheels with the OE Goodyear EMT Supercar F1 tires (Z51 tires) the price would be $37,900.

The stock wheels and tires have about 100 miles on them and have been stored in air conditioned comfort and are like new.

I'm ready to sell - contact me with questions or offers!!!
