does anyone have a base zo6 seems like everyone for sale is loaded with many more options than needed.I know its a little off topic but i am looking to buy i guess new..I never see just the base models for sale.

Mark the base Z06 would be the 1LZ option. You probably already know that though.

In case you did not find a "base" Z06 yet I just got in a "barely" used 2008 Z06. It is a 2LZ BUT since it is "used" it is discounted significantly!

Really off topic, but why do people buy these cars and trade them in with less than 1,000 miles?

I'm always very wary of low mileage Z06's. Mileage probably racked up 1/4 mile at a time.

Really hardly any difference between the 2 cars...the base corvettes
are actually already pretty damn well loaded...

The 2LZ has heated seats and one other minor thing I believe...
really not much of an equipment or price difference at all..

I feel the same way.
But, I have kept cars for a few years with very low miles.
Garaged, covered.

Then something new comes along and I trade it in.
But you make a very good point.
