Default Reliable Chevrolet, what do you know about them

I was dealing with Les Stanford Chevrolet and Reliable Chevrolet on a couple of vettes. Stanford had an 07 silver 6 speed 1lt coupe and Reliable will order me an 08 Atomic Orange, 6 speed 2lt coupe. The difference in price $800.00 out the door. Reliable asked me to address this forum about them because I questioned his, well, uh, reliability. So that is what I am doing. I guess if I can get an 08 with the newer motor in a premium color and an upgrade from a 1lt for $800.00 more it's worth it as long as the dealership has some good history. Anyone dealt with them. Anyone give me some insight.

I deal with the one in Springfield, MO all the time... They treat me right and I always pay invoice or less. Just catch the right sales guys and you'll be okay.

Reliable in Richardson, TX? If so, I bought a Vette from them. Worked out fine, and they have a nice selection and good sales people generally. Finance guy drove me up the wall until I threatened to skunk the deal if he came back in with one more add-on BS protection in the payment and got up to leave. Salesman caught me at the door with GM and it went smoothly after that.

This dealership is out of Missouri. Wants to compete with Les Stanford and seems to be trying his best to put deals together to do it. Wants more allocations for 08 and 09. His deal seems solid to me, I just want to talk with some folks who have dealt with him. He wants $1,000.00 to get the order in for August.

Default Reliable Chevy

I bought an 06 thru them on the 0% deal. They were easy to deal with, made me a very fair deal right from the start. Even let me trade in an 04 caddy. The deal was definately less than invoice. Not one bump in the road all the way thru. Delivered to my door and left with my old car. I'll do business with them again. I dealt with Wes.

They are all owned by Van Tuyl automotive aka a "VT Store." They are driven harder to make profit in finance then in the car deal. Expect all sorts of vin etch, tire pressure caps, warranties, credit insurance, windshield protection, religious icons, soothsayers, etc.

You made the right move.

Default Bought my 2007 from Reliable in Springfield, MO

I bought my 07 C6 M.R. Z51 Coupe from Billy at Reliable. He did an "Outstanding" job for me and gave me a really good deal. He also asked for $1,000 "up front" to ensure I was serious and he locked me in to an order 5 months before the 07's were being built. Delivered to my local Dealer in Wash state via Courtesy Delivery with no problems. Picked up my car on July 14th last Summer. No problems with anything and numerous "follow-up" calls to make sure I was totally satisfied. I definitely recommen Billy, his Dealership, and will order from them agin next year!

Thanks for all the info on Reliable Chevrolet. I feel pretty confident that they are who they say they are and will follow through with the deal they offered me. I told me local dealership about the deal and they told me it could not be done, soooooo I guess I'll just have to do it and show them that it can be done. Sometimes you have to just think out of the box, something these guys have a hard time doing.

Talk to Wes. He did a factory order and set up a courtesy delivery with no hassles and a great deal. They sell over 100 Corvettes a year.
07 coupe A6 1LT black $39,900+$125 Doc fee and 0% financing. All paperwork was sent Fed-Ex overnight. Tell him you're a Forum member.

I called over to Reliable and asked for Wes, and apparently they have more than one Wes there. Would any of you happen to know his last name? I am thinking of jumping into a 2008 Z51. And call me crazy, but I want it in Jetstream Blue. I think it is an awesome color.
