Default 06 1LT couple, how much is it worth?

Hi,

I have been looking for my first vette for a bit now, was planning on getting a C5-Z, but have been having a hard time finding one that I like. Anyways, I recently saw an add for a C6 coupe, it is an 06 1LT with ~ 10000 miles on it. I was wondering what a fair price for such a car would be?

alot of factors go into pricing a car. condition, color, options, where its located, how many owners, who has owned it, etc.

The car is now located in Vancouver Canada, but was purchased by the dealer at auction in Nevada, prior to that it was a one owner car. The car is black, not sure about interior, but I believe it is the base model.

Default fellow canuck

Hi there, I want to buy a vette as well but have a hard time deciding between a used one and a new one because........07's have a better warrenty..start at $40,000 new, will get cheaper as 08's come out with more power. The problem is the used ones are too much money. A like new 06 1lt coupe with no miles should be 35,000 to buy because it is used. It would be nice to get one like that to save some money because five years from now when it has 37,000 miles and a new 06 has 32,000 miles...really they will be worth the same. The problem is people paid lots for there 05's and still want good money and then 06's they want 37-39 and I know 3lt's are worth more than that etc. Anyway make mine 07 red/red 2lt Z51 coupe with Grey wheels. Can be had for $41000 brand new. Also did you know the vettes brand new in Canada only come 3lt and start at $58,000 us funds or 68,000 can. I will be buying mine in the states and have a nice ride home.

US dealers won't sell new cars to Canadians b/c of gm competiton rules and it won't have a warrenty. If you want to buy from the states it has to be a used car otherwise I would seriously consider going to the states and getting a new one with 0% financing right now.

Default Buying in the US

I have a friend and an US address I am not worried about not being able to buy it. I think the cars should be the same price here plus an extra $500 for shipping or something. There are several dealers selling new (236.0 mile cars) as used cars and there are advertising on autotrader and they are spliting the difference between a new one here and one in the US. If corvettes were priced the same here( $44,995 US msrp x 1.17 todays conversion rate) $52,600 instead of $68000, they would sell quite a few more.
