Please be advised that as of this morning , I am resigning as a forum dealer. There is no problem between the forum and myself , however; I have made the decision that I will be leaving the Car business by the end of this month and have been procrastinating on making the announcement.
I have many great memories of the long days I spent on the forum and the opportunities that I had to serve so many of you from all around the country and in some cases to the other side of the world. It has been an awesome experience and one that I will always cherish and be grateful of for the rest of my life.
The good Lord is opening another door for me that is not related to the car business. As a matter of fact , he has opened two doors at once. One is that I have opened a business for my wife since she is a Licensed Home Appraiser and I felt it was time to start her own business which actually began operations in January. Secondly, I have been asked by somone else to help them continue to build their business in the residential and commercial lending field, which I have decided to accept. While this is not something that I personally have been involved in before, I can see where my past experience has allowed me to deal with many individuals that I also may be able to assist in the future. Only it will not be in providing them with a new Corvette, which has been a great career.
I appreciate the forum and I thank Troy for allowing me to participate as a supporting dealer. I am confident that the forum will be around for many years to come and that you will have additional dealers that believe in treating their corvette customers in the same fashion that I had tried to for so long. If you have to leave or change careers, you always prefer to do so knowing that everyone that you served was pleased with your service and with their Corvette.
Thank you especially to all of those customers that chose to allow me an opportunity to supply their new Corvette. I consider you all to be more than just customers but have made many of you close friends which is extremely important to me.
Enjoy your corvettes in the future. I know that I will always be a corvette owner as well as a Corvette Lover.
May the years ahead prove to be prosperous for each of you.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to share my farewell.
Just want to thank you for all the years you have supported Corvette forum and all the great deals you have given to its members. Good luck to you and your wife in all your future ventures.

Thanks so much to all of you that have made comments.
This is a difficult thing for me while being exciting as well. So many have expressed a concern over what will happen here in the future and I cannot tell you exactly what will occur.
I can tell you this, I have notified the dealership of my decision and offered to review with the person of their choice any pending orders that have been placed with the dealership in an effort to insure that those people that have placed their confidence and trust in me will not be left hanging. I have a great Sales Manager that is interested in continuing to finilize my business and I have also agreed that if they wanted my help to finalize those issues that I would be at their disposal to do so. The decision that I have had to make is with mixed emotions because I absolutely love the corvette community as well as the many friends that I have made all over this country. Sometimes the real fear is being forgotten in a very short time.
I feel that the Lord is giving me direction and believe that if I am not willing to make this step, that the opportunity will pass and not show itself again. I believe in treating people in an honest and fair manner and hope that I will have that same opportunity in the future except in a different field. I am having to step out in faith ( again ) as I did when I took over the corvette business at this dealership. Isn't is funny how the good Lord always makes us step out before he confirms his direction for our lives. Makes it more difficult to make that decision and many of us sit back and settle when we should be moving forward into the unknown.
I have made the decision to step out; whether right or wrong; to see what the future holds. I thank you all for your gracious comments. I truly means a lot to me.
Karl,
Best of luck to you in your new career. You are a fine gentlemen who deserves only the best. Thanks for your support of the Forum. You will be missed!
