Default New C-6-$7500 OFF

Just purchased a 2006 C-6 Coupe, Silver,3LT,Z-51,MXO (A-6) $52,230 less $7500 off from EVS Chevrolet in Random Lake, Wis. (Also seen on this forum as The Chevy Peddler.) Wife and I flew into Chicago, they picked us up, drove us to dealrship, and we took delivery of our new, Silver dream. Delivery was handled perfectly, and we were impressed with their dedication to Corvettes. I had asked that they check factory alignment, expecting just a regular alignment, but they performed a laser alignment before we picked it up. (It was VERY close from factory, so minor adj.) I would reccommend these guys to anyone considering a C-6, new or used.
THANK YOU, CORVETTE FORUM for posting the info to get such a deal. I had just bought new C-6 Motorsports (chrome) wheels and Supercar tires for my C-5 (1998) and was SO impressed with the improvement in ride, handling, and quietness, (not to mention KILLER LOOKS), that I had almost put the thought of a new one away. O.K., so now it looks like I'll be selling the C-5.

If the car was new why did it need an alignment?
