Tom Henry Chevrolet in PA has a 2006 Yellow Z06 with 11,000 miles. I have never seen the car, but Tom told me it is in "Like New" condition. He is offering the car @$66K.

I just hope all the bastard dealers who bought them 'over MSRP just to get the car' on speculation, wind-up taking it in the shorts.
Interest rates just went up again, and are likely to go up further. That, along with signs of a cooling economy are making discretionary purchases like the Z even less likely for most buyers.
I agree. Hopefully the greedy dealers will take it up where the sun don't shine. About time. I hope they learn a lesson. (well, we can only hope )
About the economy though, there will be plenty people with enough money to buy, regardless what the economy does.
As previous noted, it wouldnt be bad if a couple things were different, including the 11,000 miles of guaranteed hammering it took. This is the highest mileage Z I have seen.
I think its pure speculation claiming that the car was abused. From what I gather, most of the new Z owners are older, affluent men that bought just for the sake of owning one. Many have commented that they are intimidated by the car's power & use it primarily as a second car (i.e. toy).
A very small minority use the car as it was primarily intended (i.e. as a streetable club racer/track car).
My C6 hs almost 20k miles, the majority of which are from commuting.
Location: Lets just be honest with each other and let nature take its course

Rapidly dwindling, give me a Fa King break. They are still bringing over sticker (MSRP) at the auction. That means buyers are still laying out over MSRP money. I know a lot 07's that are spoken for already. So what the 06's go to MSRP or a little under a couple grand. Since when has that happened in the last 10 years of Corvette, oh yea 1997.
With the price gap between a C5 Z and a C6 Z the C6 Z will have to fall a lot more. Not saying its never going to happen but the doom and gloom and deaelrs suck for wanting to make a profit is getting old. Go tell all the people with disposable income that are paying over sticker to stop buying them so the dealerships will stop asking over sticker.
Have you ever heard of cause and effect. If people would stop telling the dealers and stop giving deposits at over sticker then this wouldn't be out of hand.
Another well thought out speculation! I am glad that someone told me that I'm old and don't use my car as intended. Gee, where were you when all of us were trying to get the first cars built and delivered? Sorry, I forgot, you weren't even a member of this forum if your sig date is correct.
