Museum Delivery & cert of title- Question

Q: I'm looking at a C6 coupe, the carfax comes back with the car first being registered in Kentucky. Dealer cant explain that- insists 1 owner in Calif. For those here who have opted for the museum delivery- does/would that show up in carfax as car originally being registered in KY??? (doesn't sound right to me . . . but a theory) Thanks!

It shouldn't. I did museum delivery and my car shows up as Florida where it should be.

Either carfax or the dealer is wrong. I'd believe carfax.

That doesn't sound right. The dealer probably has incorrect information. My car will titled in NJ, where I applied for the title, and I am picking it up at the NCM.
