Default 2006 LeMans Blue Coupe for sale: Lowered Price

Z51, polished wheels, 1LT, 6sp, blk interior with 73 miles. Need to sell to buy new toy. As new condition. Heck it is new. $44,700 OBO. 843.327.4091. mteuton00@comcast.net okwian@hotmail.com. PMs and emails checked daily (mostly).

Edit: I've gotten a lot of PMs and emails about this vehicle. I bought this car after being told I wasn't getting the Z06 I was promised. Before I could pick it up or have it transported I started negotiations on a new Z06 (331 miles is new to me). During negotiations re the Z06 I took the cpe off the market due to all the uncertainty about the Z06 deal going through. I have never picked the cpe up. I put less than 1500 miles on the initial ad because I thought I would pick it up myself and drive it back to SC or VA. The car has only 73 miles. It is new.

I am having Gary Almond pick it up now in his enclosed trailer about the middle of next week. Many of you know Gary is one of the best in the business.

So for those who are advising me to sell the car for 40-41k I don't think most of you can buy a new base cpe with Z51 esp with polished wheels for that price. I could be wrong but that's my opinion. Please correct me by telling me where a new car is at 40-41k out the door and who I can talk to concerning pricing on it.

I'm sorry for the confusion. It's all my fault as usual and I understand why many of you thought the pricing was way off.

If you don't like the price make me an offer. I love to haggle.

If you want the car and live some place other than VA near DC or Richmond then I suggest you buy it now so I can change the delivery site or make other arrangements.

This is not a distress sell so please keep your offers reasonable. I have some tuners pleading to mod this car and can hook you up for a very reasonable increase in power to 650+ rear wheel HP/TQ.

Again sorry for the confusion; entirely my fault. Initial sales tax is paid for BTW.

Very nice. Do you have pics? I'm gonna be looking soon for one just like this... Does it have NAV?

TTT. Sale back on and will stay on until sold. Just joking about Wes. He'll get an engine for the 55 Chevy to play with. Will be able to show first of next week at latest. Will try to get on my web site ASAP.

This is a great car to mod and I'll help anyone interested in that get going in a good direction with a good tuner if you need advice. I can also help with getting some nice Nittos, roll cage, yada. Or just drive and enjoy a very nice stock vette.

How are you planning to transport the car to the prospective buyer? Who pays for that cost?

Since you asked, I bought a 06 6MN Z51 2LT with comp gray wheels delivered to my local dealer with 3 miles for $43K... BTW, the 2LT is a $1495 option.

Good luck!

Guys if you can find a great deal then good for you. I threw a price up there and said OBO. If you can't read between the lines then LOL at you. And neither of the above two gentlemen thought about my out the door price and theirs and sales taxes yada.

If you want a good deal then work for it. I won't give anything away.

And if you don't have anything positive to say about my sale then stay off the thread and let me do my business.

I can't understand why people have to butt (pun intended) into someone else's car sale.

Neither one of you can add either. Polished wheels are not $600 new. Used anything does not compute. I can buy a used and modded engine to put in it and sell the new one yada yada. And I don't give a darn if you have 2LT. If it isn't 3LT then most people don't care. 1LT works fine for me. Don't compare apples to oranges. Since neither of you have made an offer then you have no idea what you can get it for. So again if you don't want to add to the sale then stay off the thread.

When you buy the car then you can worry about how to get the car to you. If you are nice maybe I'll help out.

You said that in your post;

"Please correct me by telling me where a new car is at 40-41k and who I can talk to concerning pricing on it."

and then when someone tells you, you say this?

"I can't understand why people have to butt (pun intended) into someone else's car sale."

"So again if you don't want to add to the sale then stay off the thread."

good luck with the sale.

If you actually read all the posts and used a calculator to add properly you can see there are no new cars like that for 40-41k. Give me the name of the dealer who will actually sell me a car like mine at that price out the door and I'll be quiet. Otherwise why don't you stay off my thread.

In fact don't worry about it. In a short time I'll pull the ad. It's pathetic that this forum allows this to happen time after time to good people who want to sell their car and very ungentlemenly people sit out there and can't wait to torpedo the sale and gloat about the deal they got. Jeez.

If that's the out the door price with all taxes including property taxes, sales taxes, all fees, yada then I owe you an apology. I just don't like seeing comments on peoples sales that hurt or don't add to the sale.

My wife has been clamoring for the car for the month it's sat at the dealer and been bought. We'll be there shortly and we'll see who gets there way. I'm sure you can probably figure that out already. I don't want to offend anyone and if I have then I apologize. The place for those comments IMO are private emails and PMs.

I personally think all these negative comments about people's sales should come to a stop. If it doesn't add then don't say anything but please try to take those comments constructively.

Best,

Michael

If I'm reading this right, you're pricing your car for $40-41K then.

You should advertised thusly.

You posted to a public forum, you can expect public opinion.

This is a very supportive forum, when we see someone who is not informed to the point that he does not know that a NAV is NOT included in anything other than a 3LT package, and he is interested in your car, we wanted to make sure no-one is going to get gouched in this forum.

You wanted to see if people can find a car similar to your for $40-41K, and when more than 1 of us demonstrated that we can do that, without any problems, you wanted to make sure that it's OUT THE DOOR PRICE. Would that equate to the FINAL price of your price? BTW, the seller then is STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS/HER TAX AND LICENCES. Would that mean YOUR price needs to be the final price minus tax and licenses?? So it would have to be about 10% LESS than $40-41K???

People may not like to PM, email you... as long as YOU are posting, EVERYONE is open to have their feedback.

This is America, right?

What do you have to hide that you want to take it private? YOU are the one who put it on a public forum in the first place! Are you trying to hide or affraid of the truth??
