There has been mention on the forum that the coupons are available to members of the Forum

it's called GMID - GM in the Driveway. GM employees can give out these discount certifs to anybody they like.

nobody on this forum gives them out that i've seen. do a search and there's like to a chevy avalanche forum where some GM employees give them out to anyone that asks.

Contact Richard Ott at richard.ott@gm.com to obtain the GMID certificate number. He just needs your name and last four numbers of your SSN.

Not correct. What he needs is your Date of Birth and The Last 4 digits of SS#. He does not need a name.

The people @ Avalanche were help full and hooked me right up. Now to find a local dealer to honor the coupon. Courtesy delivery sounds like it is in the cards.

Reading the post on the avalance forum the GMID is about 1% under invoice. I have not received my GMID coupon so I can't say for certain.

Great forum you have here! I'm in the market for a C6 and was browsing though here and saw the information on the GMID coupon and got one. When I called Monica at Maxi Price she said they don't accept the GMID coupon for Corvette's. Sooooo, does anyone know a dealership that does? It would be cheaper to buy out of state and have it shipped then to buy with the very meager initial discount I was offered by Maxi Price! If dealers don't accept them for 'Vettes, then why the hubbub over the coupons?

Congrats on getting the GMID cert.

I used mine at MacMulkins, talk to Tom Jr.

Ordered last week and already have a tpw of 4-3.
No doc. fee`s also.
