If I can get invoice price on an 06, is that a good deal?
I am getting ready to pull the trigger on an 06 and The dealer is willing to give me invoice price on what I want. I think that is a good deal is it? I have never spent this type of money and never had a new car in my life, so I just want to make sure I am getting a decent deal. Thanks!

Be sure ther is no incentives from GM to that the dealer "forgets" to tell you about. Also be sure if you are buying at invoice, there are no added dealer prep, delivery destination charge as ALL delivery charges and ALL dealer prep charges are included in the invoice price. Some dealers even go so far as having a $200-$400 price for prep PRINTED on the sales docs. Considering it takes at the most....2hrs to prep a new car, you are paying $100 to $200 an hour for prep that is included in the invoice price. Whew.......I'll get off my soap box now. Just Be careful about added cost when buying at invoice.

Invoice is a very good price. Factory incentives could be in the near future.
