This section doesnt move that fast Chris. I dont really think its necessary to post to your own threads 2-3 times a day when no one else has even asked a question or anything. You're only bumping them up a few spots on the board anyways.

Looks like to me and it is just my .02 cent worth, but Im beginning to think the market might be coming down to earth. Price's may be dropping soon. Just as many of you have said. I still have my list of people that will do MSRP or maybe 5 to 7.5 over.

But we are still where we are at.

Hopefully those people went to a dealer that didn't try to take advantage of them when they could screw them

There is still customers out there, calling every day willing to pay 5 to 10.

And I have not screwed anyone. It was there choice to buy or walk. They choice to drive a race car with a license plate home. I did not hold a gun to anyone's head. Or even a screw driver. Flat head or phillips.

Members may want to check out the chevy peddler and see how a supporting dealer actually helps and support forum members. Way to go Ron and Shane.

You must be talking 5 to 10 UNDER MSRP. If you're talking OVER MSRP, that's just absolute .

Had a gentleman today that would have paid 10k over but the offer was turned down. From my understanding he then went to VA. and got one at 5k over.

What have I done to you? This is supply and demand and the ones that have bought these cars from me seem to think that Im arlright.

I do not make anyone pay over. They make the choice to do that. I just try to give them great service after they make that choice.

I really think the best way to respond to this guys posts is to make no responses at all. We should try just ignoring anything he places on the forum. Eventually with any luck he will figure out nobody wants to buy his stuff-especially at his outrageous prices-and hopefully he'll just go away.

I am amazed at your thick skin. Its like water off a duck huh Chris? Problem is people are upset because they have been loyal corvette customers for years and are now being treated like crap. Customer loyalty means nothing to someone like you and the end result is a company like GM losing market share, firing 30,000 employees and having knuckleheads like you represent it. Do us all a favor and just stop with the condecending atitude and overly zealous use of smilies. They werent meant to be used by oportunists like you. This board represents people who share a common bond and try to help each other out either with information or products. you do neither.

let me say this either no one here has ever paid any attention to the past our they think chris is the one and only guy that came up with a price adjustment. i remember when 78 pace cars where going for $25,000 and ZR1's where going close to $100.000. i just picked up my new c6 went to my local dealers (LA,CA) and they all had mark ups found a dealer farther so on another forum and bought it from him yea small discount but great service. any way if theres some one willing to pay the price let them. its not your right to just always say **** when he makes a post and i bet he helps support this forum too. our thick skin and when the market dictates a price drop you follow along which wont be much longer i belive. (im a sales manager at a large motorcycle shop and yes some times we get over retail too and some times we give it away)
