Sorry Chris but you're slipping you got aced out by Fuccillo Chevrolet in grand island N.Y. They want $125,000 & are referring to it as market price? The salesman's name was Tony. I think you need to look into this!

rule of thumb.....when they want you to call for the price , it is probably too high....if it was a bargain, they would post the price for all to see....I'll wait for a real live honest printed price.....I hate haggling, begging to be a customer......show me your best deal the first time or forget it...

Default Market Price ???????????

I'm at a lost, what is this market price figure. I have a 99 convertible and my brother has a 03 Z06 with less than 4,500 miles.

Yesterday my brother went to Sunrise Chevrolet in Chicago and was looking at a 06 Z06 and the msrp sticker was approx. $68,000 when he went to look at the driverside there was another sticker referring to a market value price of an additional $12,500. What Gives ?????????
what is this, can someone explain.............

It is the "opportunity" that some dealers take to screw you. And then of course when things take a downturn they wonder why you aren't lined up to do business with them again. Go figure. You can only hold out hope that in the long run they will get what they deserve and I think that will occur.

I guess it could be worse - I went to the local dealer this morning as I saw they received their first one (and I hadn't seen one yet). Two fat guys sitting there eating doughnuts - I asked them if it was around and one guy reluctantly got up; I told him I wasn't a buyer and just wanted to see one. He escorted me to the back to see it - was cordial the whole time.

Then I asked the question: How much? He sheepishly said they were asking $95K and already had an offer of $91K and $93K. I laughed out loud and told him he better take it cuz' the market is softening rapidly. He had no response...

And I prefaced that it could be worse, however, this stealer wasn't a forum dealer.
