Default $53k for new 05' coupe?

I went to a local dealer in so. cal and was offered $53k, which is MSRP, and $500 discount with free oil changes for 5 years...the manager said it was the best he could do...I walked out soon after...was that a good deal or should I look around at other dealerships for a better deal?

not a good deal unless that oil has gold in it.

Try Dave @ Kerbeck's. They are offering 2-5K off MSRP for various vettes (05).

I don't know the difference or if there is one, but I quoted directly from the list on Ebay. Dealers have a habit of trying to make things sound better than they are by adding all kinds of BS in their listings.

Sponge, I don't know about S. Calif, but the ebay coupe was in Iowa and I saw another close to 40 that sold in Neb. Shoot, take a plane, save some big bucks and enjoy the drive back cross country. Looks like midwest dealers are serious about selling cars from what I have seen.

Default whats the differencebetween coupe&hatchback ?

Nothing ,they are both the same cars just a different way of saying it. Actually coupe is what it's actually called it just happens to have a hatchback for a trunk and a removable roof panel.

Watch out for the CA law that restricts bringing in "new" cars w/ less than a certain number of miles from out of state... I have heard that if you buy a low mileage car out of state, you can NEVER legally bring it in. Don't know if that's true, but worth checking out.

That was an old law from several years ago. Not a problem bring in any car as long as it smog compliant in all 50 states. I bought a C6 from Texas with no problem getting it registered.

I just purchased a loaded C6 MSRP of 54,030 for 49,030 at Montana Chevy. The car is being delivered next week. California dealers are way too high. They're traps for the impulse buyers who have to have it NOW. Call Dave Peppenger at (866) 541-2438.
