Default Throttle Body Extension harness???

I'm installing a Nick Williams 102 TB on my car in a couple of weeks. i do remember either C5kid or whatcop posting a part number for a harness extension of some sort so you could plug it in with it installed in the opposite direction. Maybe i'm wrong but does anyone know of the extension i'm talking about, is this it?

I never needed one because I run the TPIS 102tb and didn't need to flip mine.

Default Throttle extension harness

Casper's does offer a 24" long extension harness but we have found that to be too long an extension for our applications and had them make a shorter version for us. Our harness is a 12" extension.

Regarding the cost, we charge the same as Caspers:

If you only need a very short extension (just to get an extra few inches so that you aren't putting tension on your harness etc) or if you need a easy way to tap in for TPS signal (for WOT switch for nitrous etc.) we also offer a much shorter extension that has a built in TPS signal connector (so you don't have to tap into the factory harness):

BTW - we have extension harnesses for the C5 ETC too.

Default ZR1 extension

The connector on the 2009-2013 ZR1 throttle is the same as the LS2/LS3/LS7 throttle so the ZR1, the CTSV, the ZL1 Camaro and the 2007-2013 trucks use the same extension as the 2005-2013 Corvette and the 2010-2015 Camaro.

Default Extension or adapter

Regarding the adapter harness, I am not sure the part number they (Caspers) described to you but the adapter is probably the adapter harness designed to allow the C5 Corvette type throttle motor to be used on a C6 Corvette. The C5 type motor has proven to be less prone to reduced engine power/throttle closing problems with big throttle bodies than the LS3/LS7/LS9/LSA throttle motor so some people use that type of motor when making aftermarket large bore throttle bodies and then you need an adapter harness to install it on a ZR1 Corvette. This is the Caspers harness for that application:

http://www.casperselectronics.com/st...oducts_id=1506

Make sure you don't confuse the adapter harness with the opposite direction harness they also make (to put an LS2/LS3/LS7 throttle on a C5 Corvette).

If you are using a stock LS2/LS3/LS7 90 mm throttle or an aftermarket throttle that uses that motor/TPS assembly then you don't want the adapter harness, you just want the extension harness (assuming you need more length in the harness).

that was the plan. a few of the members i spoke with about the Nick Williams tb said it needed to be installed upside down. something with the larger blade and clearance.

Both NW102s and my TPIS were all installed in the normal position. Assuming your snout entry is ported I don't see the point in flipping it.
